“Coming down from Fremont Lookout (which is at Sunrise) I ran into Marmot and Otter (is that Trailartist by any chance?)
Ford and me had just passed a couple, when I heard a voice asking me if I was Sarbar. Sweet!
Turned out I had actually talked via email about a year or so ago with Otter.

“sarbar1, marmot and trailartist are part of our original PNW hiker group out here, meaning they along with a bunch of us from tt got together for hikes at least once a year and then there were splinter groups that would hike throughout the year. Our group started about 7 years ago on tt.

Out of our small original PNW group of maybe 12 people or so, they were one of two couples that met here and got married! Two couples married from this small group!

Yes, they are a great couple along with the other married couple Nomad and Meerkat who live in Oregon.

I think I lost track if trailartist changed her name to otter.

I did the Fremont Lookout at midnight years ago when there was a meteor shower. It was unbelievable to see the meteors coming every few minutes, then you could see the climbers lights going up in a line up Mt. Rainier. We count that as one of our magical trips.”
