“Last nights episode was mediocre. We got to see a glimpse of the sensitive, caring Colin. That's probably as non an a$$hole as he gets.

Felt bad for the models. I'd shave my head for the chance at 1 million dollars in a heartbeat. They guy was cool about it. He probably would have done it, but no way the chick would have.

The moms had a bit of a break down.

Yeah, the twins were funny. I thought they would have real lasting power because physically they are in better shape than the other teams. This is actually the second time they came in last. But the first time they just had to give up their money.

I think what's interesting about this Amazing Race is luck has really played a huge part. The a-hole team, Christy and Colin keep coming in first. Not because they are better but because things just seem to go their way. With the twins, they have done pretty poorly all along, but not because of really anything lacking on their part.

I love this show! I just wish they didn't go "Fear Factor" and make people eat stupid sheet. I think it ruins the integrity of the show.”

They had the like 98 summer olympic kayaking there i think!!”

“I've gone in the Glacier Natl Park area of Montana, the Deschutes River in OR and some light rapid rafting in the Grand Canyon. I'm not core or anything, just really enjoyed it.”

“I was so busy today that I forgot about searching for this thread. I was so excited that they were going to get last, but knew they weren't getting the boot. When the models came in last they were told it was the 3rd of 4 times that you didn't get the boot. Last night was the 2nd to last episode therefore it had to be last night. Oh well. Chip and Kim are right to be worried. As big a prick as Colin is to his gf, he's excellent at the game. It was priceless watching him implode though.

I just knew the moms wouldn't be able to make it up the ladder. Chip might be right. He said that if they succeeded there then they might be able to win it all.

I was shocked at how nice Colin was.

THe thing that gets me is that if you linked all the trials together, Colin and Christy win by several days. Too much empasis is placed on the airplanes. Colin was a punk ass #&%!$, or was that a #&%!$ ass punk, anyway, he was awesome out outdoors sports. He just chugged up that ski slope. He was a prick to her on the way up though.

“I don't watch "reality" shows....most of them are not "real"....the producers make their shows appealing for the advertisement revenues.

The final "Amazing Race" espisode is the only one I watched...only glimpses of it...probably not more than 15 minutes.

“I like that aspect of the race (how the flight can make or break a team's progress.) It's part of the excitement. Just like getting to leave the pitstop at 2:30 am to go somewhere that doesn't even open until 9 am and everyone becomes even. It's exciting!”

“I realize they have to do that for TV and to keep them bunched up, but to have a busy connection at the end with no way to make up for it didn't work for me. “As I got off the phone I did hear one of the teams say that they shouldn't have checked their luggage. Is that what caused C&C to lose? If so, our office motto comes around again, "If you're gonna be stupid, you'd better be tough." What idiots to check luggage at the end of the day of the final day of the race. Who needs the luggage?”

What happened is Chip and Kim were behind from snowshoeing. The other two teams went to the airport booked the earliest flights and went to that hotel to rest. But Chip and Kim got to the airport later, found out the plane that was the other teams' flight in the morning did not come in due to fog and therefore their flight would be delayed due to lack of plane. So Chip and Kim booked their Denver-Dallas itinerary. The other teams got the Denver flight but couldn't get on the same Dallas flight. So when they got to Denver they found another flight that was even earlier, but since they had checked their bags through on a different flight they could not transfer to the earlier flight.”
