Very cool stuff!” 9:31:48 AM 11/24/04 “I was mainly curious about the application process. It'd be fun to do, but leaving the kids and work for that long won't happen.” 9:33:28 AM 11/24/04 “My friend and I started the application but missed the deadline. Then T-Mobile started to sponsor the race and we were both employees. We gave up on our dream. Be prepared to make a video tape too. All the couples say baby! Yup, I was slurping wine through the whole show and I do feel a little hung. Especially since I had 3 glasses of wine with a friend before I watched the show.” 1:49:17 PM 11/24/04 “where do you get the apps?! Thinkbubelz and I think it would be a riot to try out for it!” 1:54:10 PM 11/24/04 “dayhiker.... I'd bet Thinkbubelz & I would make good TV-- we start to bicker when we get too tired and stressed out... But we always realize our error and get back on track... But we are both pretty logical thinkers, so I think we'd do well.... :-)” 2:00:27 PM 11/24/04 “My issue would be that under stress my engineering personality kicks in and I go into problem solving mode. Problem solver dayhiker is pretty devoid of emotion or sensitivity. I'm not disrespectful or anything, I just lose my tact.” 2:03:42 PM 11/24/04 “It was on the CBS website somewhere. They may not be accepting apps at this time and that's why you can't find it.” 2:07:53 PM 11/24/04 “I really hate that the sisters got kicked off. That chick pushed over about half the bales and didn't find one? She probably overlooked 2 or 3 in the process. Why did they wait 2 hours to tell her it was over? Anuerysm man should've gotten left after the incident in the car. I wonder if they'd get kicked off if he actually hit her. I suspect we'll get to find out. If she hasn't already left him then I hope the public airing of this will finally convice her. What an ass. The couple in first is strong. All they do is win. They're even keel and capable. Hell boy needs to grow a pair. That seems to be what his ex is telling him. The wrestlers just crack me up. I'd have hated to tell him he miscounted for the 30th time. The older couple is sweet. They are a good example of what it takes to stay that long. Respect, love, and teamwork. They have botched the teamwork a bit though. I was surprised he begged because they were old though. Poor form.” 7:43:27 AM 12/01/04 “I didn't get a chance to see it last night, sounds like a good one though, will have to wait to see it on Saturday night? Do you know what time its on?” 8:36:10 AM 12/01/04 “I don't.” 8:41:53 AM 12/01/04 “I think it's on at 9 pm (EST)-- dont' know what it is elsewhere. I cried for the poor girl--8 hours of pushing hay bales-- I cannot believe she didn't find the marker!!! It was kind of mean for them to let her continue on for 2 more hours when they were just going to eliminate her! I'm guessing she went home and had a long hot bubble bath and couldn't move for days afterwards... That Jonathan guy REALLY has to go-- Victoria needs to kick him (in the balls) and to the curb-- he is such an ass that Thinkbubelz thought it was funny that even the GUYS were annoyed with him! The older couple IS sweet--although I think that they should have just switched to the other task after being so frustrated-- I wonder what they were doing wrong-- were they supposed to count each pan or did they just screw up in their addition? The wrestler (Bolo?) was pretty funny--at one point he's counting... 67, 68.... 80, 81... no wonder he got botched up!!! Thinkbubelz and I looked at the tasks-- there is no way we'd do the counting task-- far easier to assemble the desk than to get off track counting-- especially since the people couldn't tell them what they were doing wrong!! but it was cool to see that they built in some equalizers (i.e. the train station opening, and the Ikea store as well.)--it wouldn't be much fun if 1 group was 3 days ahead of the others! :-)” 10:56:41 AM 12/01/04 “I thought it was great that the wrestlers DIDN'T use the Yield on the old folks. I was thinking that it was going to come down to who got to that yield first. But, I didn't forsee the Van Gogh Curse.” 6:40:51 PM 12/01/04 “While a lot of the teams argue amongst themselves, they seem to be really nice to other teams. I shed some tears for the sisters too. Heartbreaking. Such nice girls too. Plus since I was playing my drinking game I was quite tipsy. I almost ran out of wine!” 7:19:46 PM 12/01/04 “Reformed-- I agree-- I thought that they might have yielded on the old people... but apparently, (although I think someone should have yielded that Jonathan (but not Victoria).... LOL What the heck is the "van gogh" curse?” 11:54:48 AM 12/02/04 “So, what dod people think of this week's episode? Thinkbubelz & I couldn't believe that Hayden and Aaron blew their lead by sleeping in with the 2 groups--It seems to me that the most logical thing when waking up would have been to go to the tower and wait for the doors to open! I'm glad that the old couple didn't get eliminated this round, though... The poor guy had to endure the seasickness and then watch helplessly as his wife did the salt harvesting thing... For me, if we were subjected to those 2 tasks, I would have taken the task of laying the fish on the table-- I know myself enough to know that being on a boat on the ocean would NOT be a wise thing to do (especially since you don't have the luxury of taking an anti-seasickness pill and waiting 45 minutes before getting onto the boat!) I did think it was funny that "hell boy" was crabbing so much about lugging the salt.... Seems like only the wrestler lady learned from the natives in balancing the basket on her head, rather than exhausting her arms lugging the salt (with the water resistance) back to shore!” 9:35:14 AM 12/09/04 “I felt sorry for Hell Boy. His ex girlfriend said some really horrible things to him. I agree, I don't understand why the older couple and the dad and daughter keep choosing the bad tasks. It takes forever to catch 4 fish on a line. Stacking fish is so much easier.” 4:05:12 PM 12/13/04 “The bad thing about this round is that there aren't exactly many places to panhandle for money for the older couple. I recall an episode last time where they're panhandling in a tourist hotel in Cairo. It'll be a bit different this time around. The tasks are always funny to me. The random type tasks pretty much always get you in trouble. Hell Boy needs to grow a pair. I wonder if mommy still cuts up his food at supper and wipes his butt?” 4:18:30 PM 12/13/04 “Didn't his girlfriend say that his mom was still clipping his toenails when she met him? My guess is that his mom would make the ultimate in BAD mother-in-laws... you know, the over-protective, over indulgent mommas are the ones that tend to kill off any future prospects for those type of guys! I wonder how the older couple will have to come up with the money.... I felt so sorry for the guy--his wife said that every time he puked, they caught fish! (Yuck! that is 1 fish I'm not sure I would want to eat)” 4:36:11 PM 12/13/04 “The couple where the chick looks sort of like Britany Spears seems to be the team to beat. I thought it was funny when her bf was going on and on about her getting wet in the salt part of the challenge. The local villagers didn't seem to mind.” 4:38:36 PM 12/13/04 “Actually last season, the mom's had to beg at the temples in Luxor. (Cairo is 300 miles away, where the pyramids are.) It's a very very busy place with maybe 50 tour buses at a time. (I was there in 2001.) Very easy to bum money from people. I agree, this couple is going to have a horrible time. But Phil did say it was a big tourist spot. Maybe there is more than what they are showing.” 4:55:58 PM 12/13/04 “OMG-- Johnathan needs to go.... If Victoria doesn't divorce him at the end of the show, I would have to wonder at where she's suffering from battered woman's syndrome!!!!! His behavior was absolutely intolerable... I cannot believe that he HIT her! I mean-- shoved her hard... AFTER she was carrying HIS backpack! The guy has no concept of how to treat his wife.... GRRRRRR..... it makes me so mad! Well, the rose ceremony in the slave building in Africa was extremely touching (Hera's dad took it extremely hard--it made me want to cry, too). Thinkbubelz & I've come to the conclusion that their airfares must be pre-paid-- otherwise, the older couple never would have left the African continent.... Can't wait to see what happens next week!” 9:24:14 PM 12/14/04 “The airfares are prepaid. I wondered that last time. At the beginning of this one they said it in the intro. I missed most of the beginning. Charlie Brown was on before this and we watched it with the kids. That left little time for an abbreviated bedtime routine. I stuck my head downstairs a time or two and saw a brief part of the slave tunnel. That had to be very powerful. That beer looked good. It was funny when the old lady said 7" is BIG and her husband grinned. Jonathon is just a prick. I kept waiting on the host to actually say something. It appeared that he wanted to say a good bit more than, "Jon, go check on Victoria." My wife goes, "Dr. Phil would ask her why she enables him to do that to her." She's right. If I talked to her that way, I'd have a knot on my noggin and see her ass walking away. I can't imagine talking to anyone the way he talks to her, yet he talks to the person he's supposed to love more than anyone that way? I thought the exchange between the older couple at the end was sweet. Afterward I made a comment to my wife. She goes, "No, you cannot ditto that. Don't even try." Pretty funny. The steroids comments were pretty funny. What's up with the dark haired chick that was wearing a low cut pale orange top last night? She's very proud of her breast. She sure shows them off as much as possible. I can never recall her name so I've just started calling her the boobie girl.” 6:43:23 AM 12/15/04 “I was enjoying the show, until Jonathan hit her. If the network doesn't somehow address this in the next episode, I am not going to watch any more. Bickering is one thing - verbal and physical abuse are another. Assaulting someone is wrong and illegal. At the very least, there should be a rule that you cannot physically attack anyone in the game, including your partner. If you break the rule, you are either out of the game or put in last place. The slave building part was moving.” 7:34:41 AM 12/15/04 “I completely agree-- when Johnathan hauled off and hit Victoria, I was so angry at him! My friend thinks that he should be docked time off for leaving his pack behind as well. She was in such agony and trying so hard, when she picked up his pack--If I were to see him somewhere, I'd give him a major Ass whoopin'.... The guy is out of control-- and his verbally (and now physically) abusive nature is NOT okay. I wonder if there's a place to email the network and ask them to address his malicious behavior?! Even though I understand that the host's role isn't as a counselor, I think he should have said more... But then again, maybe he was afraid Johnathan would hit him... You know, many abusers think that by "apologising" and saying "I'm sorry", they can heal the inner wounds... But to me, if you're verbally abusive, that could leave a lot more emotional scars than physical abuse...” 9:14:09 AM 12/15/04 “One thing to remember is that this was filmed 6 months to a year ago. Email might help future segments though. They are filming next season now, or might have even finished. I think I'm going to dye the back of my hair blue like Jon's. That'd look groovy.” 9:18:43 AM 12/15/04 “Well, if Victoria decides to leave Jonathan after this show due to verbal and physical abuse, she certainly has plenty of evidence - even if it did happen during the context of a TV show. Chances are, he's like that all the time. And to think she said on a previous episode that she thought he would make a great dad. last edited: 12/15/04 9:31:58 AM” 9:31:38 AM 12/15/04 “Their profile on the cbs site says they joined the contest to reconnect after long discussions about having kids, or something like that. She needs to kick him to the curb. He sure is proud of his ferrari. Wonder what he's compensating for?” 9:33:15 AM 12/15/04 “dayhiker. You're probably right about that... but even so, Fox might be able to have some kind of response to the violent behavior of Johnathan toward Victoria....” 9:35:58 AM 12/15/04 “someone gave me a link last night to their website, but I can't seem to find it. (can't remember what his last name is!) She, however is an ex-playboy bunny and paints "pop art" paintings of Playboy images.... www.victoriafuller.net” 9:38:02 AM 12/15/04 “Actually, the show is still in production. My bosses nephew is on there....the actor. He is still gone and his family doesn't know where he is at this time. They get a weekly call from CBS telling them that he is okay. I keep thinking what a complete a$$ this guy Jonathon is and wonder if he will realize that (or she will and leave him) and make some changes.” 9:38:10 AM 12/15/04 “Really. That's interesting about being in production. He's on this go around? The reason I ask is that I heard the host on the radio a couple of weeks ago and he said they were currently filming next season. The current actor is the one with the chick I call boobie girl.” 9:40:53 AM 12/15/04 “dayhiker, that's Hayden & Aaron.... I like her, but I think that she needed a bra with that top... LOL” 9:42:53 AM 12/15/04 “the preview for next week looks a little scary-- I wonder what kind of disclaimers or "hold harmless" agreements are being signed by the contestents? Thinkbubelz laughed at the sausage thing and said that you KNOW that that one had to be a ratings grabber... LOL I think Hellboy made some funny comment about the sausages (he seemed to get the joke)... I was waiting for Bolo to keel over and get sick from eating the raw sausage-- I certainly hope that they were not intending to give the sausages to anyone to eat after they stuffed them... LOL Oh, and Hera's dad was hysterical, when he kept trying to drink out of the beer steins! I was waiting for him to grab a last swig before leaving...” 9:46:27 AM 12/15/04 “What about the disclaimers? I missed the preview.” 9:53:57 AM 12/15/04 “The older couple was my favorite. I was sorry to see them go. They were so sweet.” 9:57:09 AM 12/15/04 “What do you mean she needs to wear a bra? I disagree completely, LOL. She dresses that way each week.” 9:59:08 AM 12/15/04 “Wow, I don't think Victoria is very pretty at all. Even with all the makeup. ![]() last edited: 12/15/04 12:38:08 PM” 12:37:43 PM 12/15/04 “The older couple was sweet. Jonathan needs to go far far away somewhere. I'm really starting to like Kris and Jon. I'm between them and Hera and Gus for my favorite teams. Hayden and Aaron are ok. Everyone else sucks. That Kendra is a spoiled little #&%!$. I can't believe she said all those rude things right in front of the cab driver. Her momma didn't raise her right. And how come these people are so dumb? "Fast" in German is not Farfegnugen (sp?) The cabbie was probably wondering why those dumb Americans kept saying "Fun to drive!" over and over. And they didn't know what a beer stein was? Jeez Louise!” 12:41:41 PM 12/15/04 “I agree with you about Kendra. Um... can you say someone who needs to really needs to learn how to appreciate other cultures?! Isn't she one of the 2 models? Makes you wonder what she might have to say about some of the other contestants... Which ones are Kris & John? about the "Farfegnugen"-- I must have missed that-- will have to re-watch the tapes...” 12:45:25 PM 12/15/04 “Kris and Jon are "dating long distance." She is the blond that did so well harvesting the salt. I like them. They have integrity and are nice to one another and the other teams. Even tho they are the biggest "baby" culprits. But I just get to drink more wine because of them, I guess. I "fast" in German is "shnell." (If I remember German class in 1992 correctly)” 12:56:51 PM 12/15/04 “I think you're right about "shnell"... :-) I guess I'm partial to Aaron and Hayden because Aaron attended Michigan State University... :-) I thought the little "blow up" at the ticket counter (when someone said that Bolo was on steroids) was funny... To me, it doens't make sense to treat others like crap-- in the end, you may need to rely on the other teams to help you out. (like the old couple did when they had no money!)” 1:01:43 PM 12/15/04 “I think you're right about "shnell"... :-) I guess I'm partial to Aaron and Hayden because Aaron attended Michigan State University... :-) I thought the little "blow up" at the ticket counter (when someone said that Bolo was on steroids) was funny... I think they'll win it all. They are so even keel. My nickname for her is Britany.” 1:18:23 PM 12/15/04 “They may be actively filming the next season, but Aaron is still missing in action. So maybe, when or if he is eliminated on the show and it is broadcast, his family will be notified of his whereabouts.” 1:20:02 PM 12/15/04 “Thanks for the update. I may have misheard ont he radio. He may have said that they were still filming this season. Who knows. Anyone know how much time actually elapses during all this?” 1:23:20 PM 12/15/04 “What do you mean Aaron is missing in action?!” 1:23:26 PM 12/15/04 “google the name victoria fuller and show images only.” 1:39:02 PM 12/15/04 “Well, when my boss asked his cousin (Aaron's father) where Aaron is, his brother has no idea as the family isn't even allowed to know the destinations. Oh yea, it is not his nephew, Aaron is his 2nd cousing. Details.....and for those who think Aaron is cute...you should see his cousin! And I actually have to have daily contact with this guy and remain professional.” 2:35:53 PM 12/15/04 “Sandy-- do you know Aaron's last name?” 3:03:31 PM 12/15/04 Jump to Page << prev
