Why Today
No I’m not attending the Kerry/Edwards rally, but Scranton is the first stop of their tour and I have to go to a Hospital a few blocks from where they will be this afternoon at the same time they will be there. Traffic this afternoon could way heavily in whom I vote for.

It should not be too dirty. They just cleaned the streets yesterday in preparation for the rally. 10,000 to 15,000 people are expected to be in the courthouse from the estimates I heard on TV. I don't think you'll have a problem getting to the hospital if you take some side streets to get there. Good luck with your visit.

I'm going to Mercy and I'll come in from the north end so hopefully it won't be to bad.

I think (hope) you'll miss most of the traffic if you get off at Dunmore and come in that way rather than take the Central city exit.

That’s exactly how I plan to go I know my way around that area of town pretty well. I usually come in on the Central Expressway by the old Lackawanna train station, but I’m not going to go near there today.

I'd avoid any roads near Central city and some downtown streets are closed.

Would it make you feel better if they wore Mets hats?

Time to go.
When I’m done there I have to go to Susquehanna County to pick up my daughter from camp.

Never thought I'd miss Scranton. Been a year and a half since I've moved from Pa. I always hung out in Carbondale with friends from college.
nothing like cruising down Lackawanna Ave. and seeing the 300 lb. prostitutes...they grow 'em big in Scranton

absence makes the heart grow fonder
Y'know, I kinda miss that town.

I was just back in May and I see they turned the falls behind Nay Aug park into a tourist attraction by putting railings around the falls.

Our mayor has been fixing up the parks which is nice, but he needs also to fix more roads. It's like driving on the moon around here.
