Maine 1992

“In honor of the upcoming Hike Maine III adventure, I thought I'd dust off the old photo album and scan in my pics from way back when in 1992. It was an awesome week long trip with my two friends Eric a.k.a."Horse", and Tom a.k.a."Trail Snail". We drove straight up to the Kennebunkport coast, blew a lower radiatior hose and got it fixed, drove up to Baxter State Park and climbed Katahdin along the Appalachian Trail, visited the Gulf Hagas, and finished up in Acadia National Park by driving up Cadillac Mtn and visiting Bah Hahbah.

Unfortunately, I was attached to some bad karma at the time and I lost the entire roll of film that had the Katahdin summit shots and the Knife Edge – Don't you hate when you don't load your film properly???

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the pics 'cause you can't get there from here!

“Those "old" pics were taken using a Ricoh manual SLR and gawd knows what kind of print film. The old Ricoh manual camera had the circle and needle in the veiwfinder that you lined up for proper exposure. My how things have changed!”
