Chipotle, the end of Taco Bell?

“20oz burritos my ass! The one I just brought home for lunch weighs almost two pounds!!! I love it! And the funny thing is...they keep putting their restaurants beside Taco Bell's. They are putting a huge dent in their business! Taco Bell's parking lot is never full but Chipotle's is always full...and if you park in the TB parking lot and walk to Chipotle...you get towed! They even have a sign in the Chipotle warning you of the "bad karma" of Taco Bell.

Let me tell you...for those of you who've never had a Chipotle...stop and think about how much you like TB first. Because once I started eating at Chipotle about a year ago I can't eat Taco Bell anymore. Taco Bell is just so sub-par compared to Chipotle's gourmet burrito's and fajita's. Honestly TB food makes me sick now! And I think most of Columbus agrees as there are never cars in TB's parking lot anymore when there is a Chipotle around...So will Chipotle be the death of Taco Bell? I hope not, I just hope the Bell steps up and starts making better food.

“Chipotle is NOT McDonalds. Chipotle is an independant restaurant that wanted to expand and McDonalds invested money in Chipotle buying almost half of the stock in the company when it went public. McDonalds Inc. makes no decisions for Chipotle. They only thing they share is an accounting building.”

“The guacamole probably comes in those big caulking-gun style dispensers that dispense exactly 2/3 oz (or whatever) per squeeze. Ask for it on the side and you can put however much you want on it.”
