Sorry guys. The lines of good taste are very blurry here on TT.

Maybe I should have posted the link on the Moose Goo thread?

I ordered four jars of the powdered peanut butter. Both the regular and the chocolate. They were both excellent.

I picked up a jar recently, too, to taste test. Found it tasted much better adding a few drops of olive oil per serving since they remove 85% of the oil when they dry it. Just ordered 24 jars for my big hike next year.

I stopped by Starbucks and got free samples of their new instant coffee. I hate instant and this stuff was good. They're giving free samples out until Oct. 5th.

Speaking of instant coffee, my wife bought some Medaglia D'Oro instant espresso to use in a recipe and I ended up taking it on a hike because I didn't have my usual coffee disks. This stuff was the best instant I've ever had. It can be hard to find but it's well worth it

Dammit!!!!

We found Hershey Kiss Cherry Cordials at Wally World. They are like pieces of crack wrapped in red aluminum foil.

I have a 1930s-era homemade ice creamery 100 yards from my front door.

I'm spoiled rotten.

Thank God it's not me...if *I* had a 1930s-era homemade ice creamery 100 yards from *my* front door, after a while I wouldn't have a front door - I'd be living at the creamery!

Blackberries are in their prime right now. Just got a quart of those, some bootyful strawberries, and really tasty blueberries. They're getting poured over split biscuits with loads of fresh whipped cream later today.

I just picked 2 lbs of blackberries and raspberries from the patch. The canes are absolutely loaded this year. The neighbors strawberries spread through the fence but the squirrels are better at getting them than me.

We've been picking Mulberries by the bucket load on the property. Only one tree, but it's yielding a bunch of fruit.

Its too bad that the double blizzard we got here in February destroyed most of my berry bushes - snapped them all to pieces.

My CSA farm shares have been great so far, but they don't do fruit.

Bacon Pancakes!
From the batter blaster website:

Bacon Pancakes
Submitted by Josh H.
1. Fully cook some bacon.
2. Cover the fully cooked bacon with Batter Blaster.
3. Cook bacon pancakes and eat.

Q: Do I need to refrigerate Batter Blaster?
A: Yes! Batter Blaster is a refrigerated product to maintain maximum shelf life. Shelf life is printed on the bottom of the can.

yes, to maintain maximum shelf live, but is it needed?...i wonder how well it'd hold up in a pack...but then again, shake and pour works very well too

Rosey...cytomax...does it come in set ups for the 1/2 liter bottles or will I need to make separate pouches?

The Reason is I want to set up some packs in my gear that are for rehydration. SO its a no measure...just pour and add water.

I don't care for the texture of the "light" ones. The regular ones are all good. Try melting one of the wedges into potatoes. Yummy.
