Santanonni Trip Report

“There ya go, Bo Bo....”

“I'm alittle bruised and battered, but it's a good kind of pain.

The Hellhole known as the Santanoni Range and Bradley Pond trail actually gave us some of the best conditions you could expect for this area, where hikers have been known to disappear in the thick black Adirondack ooze. Buddurdog was sniffing around one bog-hole for awhile... thought I was gonna get a some free gear for a moment there!”

“Uh huh, it was the best mud I've seen there yet!

Buddur Dog is a hell of a hound.

I have a sore spot on my upper lip from trying to smoke the wrong end of that dang cigar.”

“Doug, we were able to summit all three mountains. Views were limited because most of the high peaks were in the clouds.

The Bradley Pond Trail was not as wet as expected.

We will get you up your final 2 peaks.

I'll try and get my TR up tonight, but I have a lot of other things that have to be done first.”

Bobo - your pics are great. You really captured the essence of the trip. Well, except for Buddur upchucking that burrito. LOL!

Great trip with great people and I had a blast getting through the muck to those 3 elusive peaks. Thanks for organizing this, Buddur Dude! 2 regrets: I forgot the sambucca, and my mascot, Mister Moose Poop, got lost on the trail. :o(

Anywho, Bobo really captured the trip with his photos, but here are the few that I took.

ps.... hey Bobo - did you get off 87 before Albany like the signs said to avoid traffic? I got off at rt7 and took 787 for a while which worked out ok.”
