"Mark O: Hey! Your first 46er! Far out! 4000 feet in the Daks is a lot different than 4K in Dolly Sods, eh?!"

Dolly Sods ain't easy, but Santanonni is some of the toughest crap I've ever seen.

I used my hands almost as much as my feet.

I called it "ape hiking"......swingin' and crawlin' up and down the trails.

MarkO - no matter how you take the picture, we were all a bunch of dirty dawgs!

Nice pics Buddur! I like the Panther Peak benchwark and Buddurdog. Did you see my Buddurdog pic... it's a good one.

M_Silver, Scorchey, glad you liked the pics :)

Hey! Nice Pics!

Papa always said, "Up, over, around... it's not how pretty you look, it's just about getting past the log"

p.s. - last freakin time I drive you to Maine, LOL!

Great pics!
This and FYAO V will serve as my inspiration through physiotherapy.

You really did lose weight, Capn. Looking good.

Can't wait to meet up with you guys again.

And We Couldn't HaveHad AnyBetter Trail Conditions
I haven't really had as much time to chime in and write a short TR like I'd've liked to, but I'd still like to state what a great time it was. I couldn't have hiked with better folks and dedicated hikers than you guys Pennsy, MarkO, Lumberzac and BobO.

Any one of those guys set a good, good pace on the most demanding trails I have seen in 30 years of backpacking..........scrambling and scratching our way.

The range hike was 3470' both total ascent and decent, and 9:13hrs.

The hike out was +200 ascent, -1720 decent, and 2:20 hrs long.
