“Poor Ole Geo got checked into the hospital last night. His leg has been a problem for awhile now and he's laid up getting IV antibiotics, probably until Sunday. I just got back from seeing him. He's doing OK, please have some good thoughts for George today.

“wow... he's got the same problem i'm going through. i broke my fibula 10 years ago and stress fractured my tibia... it's never healed right and that's what's been acting up lately. just got my x ray and i'll have results by monday then i have to see an ortho.

I read CreekDancer talking about telling Geo about our unsafe borders... here in MN they have Homeland Security grants. The Star Tribune (back in Mary and Lou's land... lol) did a story Sunday on who did and didn't get grants.. and for what.

Pretty amazingly, the counties that border another country (Ok, so it is Canada!) didn't get any grants! And officials told a story if a Middle Eastern man coming in legally from Canada BUT he then snuck off to an illegal crossing with supplies for like 10 people. Hmmmmm...

Everyone's favorite was the ritzy Twin City suburb of Edina. They got some monster humvee or sumthin' with -- get this -- rotating garrets or turrets or something that you can shoot a gun out of.
