backcountry ski bootsView Messages“Did someone say "let's go skiing"?” 5:22:32 AM 10/14/04 “Yes, someone definitely said "Let's go skiing!" Monkeyboy, I've got that Killington season pass and I'm just itching to use it. It's also good at Mount Snow, Pico, Attitash/Bear Peak, Sunday River and Sugarloaf...but, you already know that. ![]() 10/06/2004 :: "Make it and they will come." Will you? Just a few short weeks until opening day. :) last edited: 10/14/04 7:46:04 AM” 7:45:19 AM 10/14/04 “Sounds (and looks) good dudes! But you just can't put the Pennsynator on X-country skis (even if they have metal edges) and push him off the side of a VT/NH mountain! or can you, hmmm?...... last edited: 10/14/04 8:50:14 AM” 8:48:21 AM 10/14/04 “hey ski, is that you in the pic? you about to wipe out?? hahaha!” 10:24:08 AM 10/14/04 “Nope, not me in the pic. I grabbed it off of Killington's site. While the person in the picture should have their hands more forward, their form seems OK to me. Nothing like cranking in a right turn.” 10:31:15 AM 10/14/04 “ok mr. pro. : ) hey, you and your sig. other have room for me to camp out at your place if i need to in the spring? i'll be reallllllll quiet while i look for a job.” 10:35:34 AM 10/14/04 “e-mail me and we'll talk...or just call me (if you still have the handy twigeater BSP list)” 10:44:48 AM 10/14/04 A tip. “I personally think that - while waxless skis are better now - you will improve to the point where they become slower than you. Get a tube of Polar wax (white) and spread it on the smooth parts of your skis - front and back. Melt it into the base with an old, non steam iron set to 'nylon'. Keep them waxed like this and you'll get as much performance out of them as they can offer. Have fun.” 12:31:08 PM 10/14/04
