It's actually a cliff along the Colvin Range in the Adirondacks.

here is the view from the Cattskills' Indian Head Mtn. You can see the Hudson in the background. I'd like to go back up to that trail and do it as a backpack overnighter, maybe in November.

I've not backpacked since the Loyalsock trip, not counting the Loggers Path trip. I've gotten dayhiking in though. I am seriously going through withdraw. Where are you going this weekend Gem?

I don't know where I am going this weekend. don't think i'll be able to do an overnighter for sure. Maybe a dayhike in NC, jones gap or ceasars head... i don't know. Oh, also was thinking about roan mtn.
