“looking forward to it. The only hiking I did in the Adks was on Prospect Mountain and that was just walking around the top of the mountain and looking at Lake George.”

“This will be far different than that. I hope you like climbing open rock, because we will be climbing the slide up East Dix to get up on the range. It's an about 850' open rock slab that is at about 33* incline. Hopefully things will be dry so we don’t have to skirt around to the edge of it.”

“can you name all those peaks? Are all those Adk peaks? I know you can see Marcy from Washington on clear days. You can also see Mansfield from Washington, so I assume you can see Mansfield and Washington from Marcy on a clear day.”
