FIND GLASS BALLS - FYI

“This is actually news thats a few days old, but some gal here (WA)that owns a glass factory made a ton of glass float balls to commemorate 9/11 with it stamped on the float.

She picked a park that is a beach to hide them on. You have to know a ton of people would show up, and when they did, they trampled the flowers and shrubbery on the beach. Now she will be liable for paying that back.

I hear you can still find glass floats in WA. I only find the round metal ones.

You can still buy the floats in the stores, but they aren't the real ones, but still decorative.

She is planning another event using 3,000 floats for next year, but will pick a better area, and GET A PERMIT this time.”

It's too bad that the people whom she did this for didn't think before stepping on the plants and flowers.

(Of course, whenever you give away anything for free the herd and stampede mentality comes into play...

Hopefully, her project is more successful and less invasive next year.”

“She had her company hide the glass balls in and behind wood and shrubs. They say the shrubbery was 3 feet high before being trampled.

I think it's been done on an OR beach before, but the beach had no shruberry on it, just wood.”
