It's depressing.” 6:14:15 PM 3/29/05 “Hope you get better fast Pixie. I had a messed up big toe joint for almost a year. It wasn't a bunion, the joint was jutting upwards instead of outward. It hurt like hell. I had injections, orthotics, orthotics and superfeet. Everything helped very little. I started going to a chiropractor last month and like magic, the inflammation and pain in my toe joint is gone. My pelvis was so rotated it was affecting my feet. I didn't go because my foot was messed up but because I had wrenched my back. I'm so glad I did now! I told my podiatrist about it and he said "oh yeah, that makes sense". Anyways, it's hard being patient while you can't do what you want and you're in pain. I hope you get results fast.” 7:29:32 AM 3/30/05 “I'll be back to the gym soon, too. I don't much like when they bark at me either. I really wish people would keep their dogs on leashes. Not everyone likes dogs! And my friend is very allergic. I'm taped up (no water on foot) for 6 days and am not allowed to bend it whatsoever for 2 weeks when I go back for a reassessment. I am allowed to use the bike at the gym. I went to the gym after work yesterday and worked with my trainer on "legs" and abs. Halfway through the leg workout (a tough one) I asked him if I would be able to walk today. He smiled at me and said, "Maybe." Gotta love that kid. He does make me work hard. I respect him for his ethic and his abilities, but the ladies seem to like him for his looks. Wish I could arrange to transplany my brain into his body. That would be so much easier. Birch: Great ride. I may borrow someones daughter/son and trailer when I get my bike out. Sounds like a good deal. As for dogs and runners, runners think of dogs like most people think of lawyers. They are all viscious except mine. ALso doube bosue alternate leg arm lift. and balancing on a stability ball. When I get in a routine I go everyday including weekends unless I go bping. I do 3 sets of 10-12 reps. I move up in weight when I can do the third set of 12 easily.
