They do make me a little drowsy thou, so we'll see. he said my ligaments [sp??] felt fine. He couldn't feel anything on the knee cap either. all he really did is move my leg around in all sorts of ways, made me go on my knees. BUT like I said...I only feel the pain going down hill...sooo...I had no pain. strangly I do feel it right now thou, at least a little, from all the walking today and him screwing with my knee. [i know there lots of downhills on this trip] I am sure that the inflamatory meds he gave me will take care of that by then anyways. The milage and the trail is no problem compared to what we hiked last week. I can take the pain if I have too...or wouldn't do it otherwise. I am not all nuts. Actually thou, I don't think there will be a problem. the day before the trip I'll find a downhill somewhere here in SC...and test it out. On saturday, I power washed my house for 6 hours, tossed around 38 bricks to make a flower bed, then tossed 28 40lb bags of dirt to fill in the bed. Washed 2 cars and raked yard on sunday...great workout...I did 1.5 hours of high impact cardio on monday tossed weights last night and then danced with the vaccum cleaner. Tonight, I do deep knee bends and arm thrusts as I hand wash my kitchen floor... the point is, that anything can turn into excercise if you want it too.
