Biking
Monday, while siting in my 2pm to 3:15 Managerial Marketing Class, I decided I would cut my buisness law class and go biking for the rest of the night. I bolted out of marketing jumped into my sexy sleek biking clothing and charted my coarse from mapquest. I figured today I would go long, 20 miles or so. So i look at the map and just pick a circut rout along 202 and skyline drive to Sloatsburt rd then to sawmill rd to tr 59 and back home on 202 (violin knwos what I'm talking about). I was hoping the proffesor wouldn't be taking attendence but, when I found out he did it was well worth it...

In 1hr 45 minutes I covered and estimated 31 miles according to mapquest. I found everything I wanted in the ride. A hill that totaly kicked my youthfull ass into a blistering sweat. While I have a granny gear, since lance doesn't use it, I didn't...I was so satisfied in the climb, yet the down hill was 14 fold....(14% grade). I flew down this hill wizing past cars like they stood still then at the bottom, I met wanaque resivour accented by fall foiliage and a seting sun.

I am so happy I found a new rout that challenged me. I am thinking of biking to harriman and then doing seven lakes drive.

I'm beging to love life in away I never used to. Going to the gym, partying, getting smarter, making more friends, and any adredilan rush I can find has created my new moto....LIVE LIFE

That's awesome, Tea. I'm happy for you. The college life is a great time to grow as a person, and it sounds like you're taking full advantage of it. Glad to hear you found a new and fun exercise outlet. What kind of bike do you have (road or mountain bike)? Stay safe.

Why is it that people that post here are such terrible spellers.
College students should learn to spell.

Some people could also have learning disorders. Relax, and just be happy for the guy.

Sometimes you've just got to skip out on class. Please don't skip out on the spelling classes. Sounds like your life is really beginning to blossom.

Want another adreniline rush? Try alpine skiing.

traillady - I was actually about to post how much his spelling has improved since he's been at college.

I agree, dayhiker. Tea's spelling still leaves room for plenty of improvement, but it has certainly improved from a couple of years ago.

Yeah, Tea's spelling is much better of late.

It's good to see you're getting out and having a good time Tea!

That sounds like a great route Tea. You're lucky to be close enough use it. Biking can really burn up college stress, huh?

sounds like college is doing you a world of good, Tea - enjoy!

Artex I know Tea is a good friend of yours, but "learning disorders" shouldn't be used as an excuse (especially since you are a teacher) when the truth is Tea is just lazy - or at least that's what he's been telling us all these years.

every time I type, my words are a jumble...the letters are all there, just not in the right order...I have respect for myself, therefore I edit.

I try to edit every time I post something, but there are certainly times when I hit the enter key and then realize my mistake. A one second delay might be nice. Or maybe an "Oh Sh*t!" key.

Twiggie and Skircare - that's true, I'm already seeing students who use learning disorders as an excuse for laziness. However, it wasn't my intention to outright imply that Tea has a learning disorder, though in hindsight I can see how my post could very easily have been interpreted otherwise. I just thought the comment above was a bit prejudgmental by someone who I haven't seen post much and didn't look at the facts.

Well, that and I just don't like seeing people take digs at my friends.

Just to clarify - I wasn't referring to students using the term "learning disorder" as an excuse, I just expected a teacher to have a little respect for what is a real problem and not throw the term around quite so easily.

I also thought it was kind of a cheap shot at traillady - insinuating that Tea might have a real problem (that she should feel bad about pointing out) when he doesn't.

I was just surprised, though I don't know why.
