Where did she go?
Did I miss something? Mapleleaf used to be one of the most abudant posters here. I hardly see a post from her or even Treebeard these days.

Hey folks! Still around, but I have been put on an assignment to help some attorneys upstairs that has been keeping me away from desk work. So, I can't pop in and out of here at will for now. Maple's also undertaking some new duties at work that have been keeping her pretty busy.

That's all it is, Ski. The only problem with it is that this group up there are such "high tension" people. I hate that. I swear, if I had to work with them permanently, my blood pressure would probably go through the roof!

I confess I don't know why and don't understand it, but I guess it was thoughtful of you to sign my guestbook with a poem.

Jeeze, you're at least as old as me! I had forgotten that line until you posted. "77" was wiped from my memory banks. I now recall that black & white image of Kooky coming his hair! Thanks for the memory! (Guess I'm showing my age, huh?) lol

I remember living in northern Minnesota and having hair like that. I'd spend the requisite half hour in the bathroom getting my hair just right (vitalis or wild root cream oil) and run out to the school bus stop and that minus 40 degree weather. My hair would instantly freeze in place and I'd be good for all day.

Well, I'm pretty bald these days. I've always thoughts it was sort of a divine retribution for hogging the bathroom (one bathroom:8 people). My other thought was that the 40 below weather snapped off my hair roots.

I remember using 'Score' on my hair when I was a kid to hold the 'wave' in front. My hair used to freeze when I walked the four blocks to school.
