Caprock Canyons Trailway

“I planning a trip there b4 Thanksgiving break. Does anybody have any info on this? I seem to remember some in here did the trip back in April.

Any assistance is appreciated.”

“The western end is more scenic than the eastern end. The trail is flat, wide, and level as it is an old railroad grade. If the bats are not hibernating by then, you will see thousands rush out of the tunnel starting about 20 minutes after sunset. A rattlesnake tried to kill me while I was cooking dinner on the ground. What else do you need to know?”

“You can learn the history of the area at the local cafe.”

“I was the one who initially started the thread for tx hikers on the other site. It came together with the backpack last Feb. The computer savy one from the bunch started th website.

“RB yeah I'm going. I can't wait. I don't get on a trail soon I'll pop.

“I've been wanting to go to Austin and check out the new Cayote Ugly there.”

“I'm going to Colorado Bend on the 8th thru the 11th with my scout troop. I'll try to post some pictures when I get back and before the S.H.I.T. hike.”
