“Oh, I get it! I run my own email server, and for the last 5 years I've used two different spam blocking tools. One of them is spamcop.net. Its a free service that blacklists known spam IP addresses. Apparently the server you are emailing from is listed on spamcop, so your email is getting rejected. Are you sending from backpacker.com?

I'm amazed, I never had proof that the service worked - you are the very first person in 5 years that reported to me that they couldn't get through!”

I can't do anything about it but they do put a tag line on all outgoing emails - maybe that's what's keeping my email from getting through to you.”
