“Yikes! Bush actually didn't stumble over a 3 syllable word!

They are both doing a good job. Kerry's got a few good ones in though.

I like that Kerry is bringing up ole Osama! Good move.”

“Now Bush has Kerry one the ropes for putting the troops down for their hard work.

Did anyone see Bush on Dr. Phil. He did good there with no word stumbling. So the guy is nervous when he speaks, as long as he can perform.”

“Dr. Phil is going to have Kerry and his wife on his show too. I want Dr. Phil to ask her how come she was a republican when she was married to her first husband before he died, and is now a democrat, and if she remarries and the guy is a republican, will she become a republican again. She's a huge major big time phony. She is a big flip flopper like Kerry.”

“Kerry is a nobody. This debate is like a bagger at your supermarket debating the owner how to run the supermarket.

Kerry does not have the knowledge the president has to talk about anything so how can he debate him, and Bush's hands are tied to an extent in this debate to keep some good plans he has to himself inorder not to let the enemy know what he is up to until he is ready to act.”

I think its like what Eisehower's son did: he felt the Republicans had turned their back on what made him proud to be a Republican. Interesting piece he had the Union Leader endorsing Kerry.”

“Yes, both did a good job. I thought Bush squirmed a bit more when watching his opponent's remarks. And was I mistaken, or did Bush just go ahead and rebut comments without being given the go-ahead by the moderator? Seems kind of impulsive behavior we've seen before.”

“I think both did well and each side will say their man did the best job. I don't think there were any huge mistakes (well, pre-Sept. 10... then again the Prez was giving the terrorists an extra day to attack??)

“I think they both took some good jabs but the best was when Bush started to question how Kerry was going to pay for all his new initiatives and then said, "Well, that's for another debate."”

“I still say Kerry's head is too long, and I can't look at it for four years. Then he wears his hair in a buffant in front that only makes his head look longer. If he can't style his hair, how can he lead this country?”

“If were attacked again and Kerry is President he will ask the world for permission before defending America. Bush won't.”

“Also, on the physical, I saw on the long camera shots, they were both fidgeting with their legs at times, at least until realizing the camera was on them.

To me, on the side shot, Bush looks like a hunched little man, while Kerry was tall and straight.”

“I can't say that Bush doesn't make me laugh. Jay Leno did some funny stuff on him speaking Spanish fluently in a clip, then showed a clip of him falling over his words in English.

lizs, His face is amusing too, maybe it's the eyebrow thing. He appears goofy sometimes, but his words are strong and that's what counts.”

“Kerry shredded? I thought he did more skirting.”

Kerry said for him and his friends, the wealthiest __% of America.”

“2%. Kerry claims he will give the remaining 98% a permanent tax cut. Yes, he will manage to fund two more army divisions, provide health care for everybody, and approve more funding for schools while cutting taxes and cutting the deficit in half. The obvious connection, Harry Potter will be his Secretary of State and make it all magically happen.”

“It was definitely like side-by-side campaign events. The format I think worked more for Kerry it didn't allow him to go on and on like Gore, and Bush couldn't draw him into taking a position he didn't want to take. It was a draw, I don't think either one could have scored on the other given the format.”

“I am glad they actually answered the questions asked.”

“On a side note: It was talked about that Dan Rather should be fired for reporting wrong information on the president, but isn't he just a monitor reader?

If he was the actual reporter, then I would demote him, but if he just read what was given to him, I wouldn't fire him.

Also, Dan Rather giving Kerry the win, is that his interpertation or was he told to say that.”

Shocking! Does he documents to prove it?”

“The only issue I felt good about Kerry on was when he stated we were hypocrites for having a nuclear weapons program while telling the rest of the world to dismantle theirs. The rest of the debate was the same garbage we've been seeing for months.”
