I have a much simpler solution then a duel (I have to grin as I type this). Since the desire is to return this place to its roots of purity as a BP site ( the whole notion is a joke , for the 5 plus years I have been here its ALWAYS had loads of political stuff) how about just not starting political threads? It would sort of police itslef at that point. The duel is cool though, it'll be fun to watch as the date nears. There will be squirming and lots of heated name calling. I may have to start drinking more coffe just to stay up late enough to keep up. I am stoked.

birch - You might be right about teh poli threads; You've been hear longer than I have and would have some insight. I am only relying on my observations when I came on board. I don't remember 5, 6 or 10 threads started a day. It's gotten so bad, that we wind up talking and hashing out the same things on a seperate thread, that we resolved two threads ago. Frickin` merry-go-round (remember that store?). I don't know about all the name calling. I don't think there is anything left for me and nigal to call each other, unless we start on the *yo momma* thang. LOL!

Seeing that no one else is gonna take this on, I'm left with a person with whom the wad was basically shot on and a person with whom I respected in the first place and really have no ill will towards. Not that jabbing isn't gonna be had, but I don't think there ain't gonna be no sparks. I've made my bet and I put it in the political gods hands, shall we say. Pretty anti-climatic, if you ask me, unless we get some #&%!$ like Busk, or stovestomper to sign on to this thing, neither which have the amount of balls it takes to deal bidness onthis level.
