CB radio day

“LOL...I asked for a CB radio last year - they're still used in the Maine woods where cell phones are useless or unreliable. There are signs along the roads that tell which channel to monitor in the area.”

Now, lest you think I\'m pulling your leg, it was, in fact, CB, and not HAM radio. Although, to be fair, I WAS using a [modified] HAM radio... and boots... and a VFO with a frequency counter... and a D-104 (who knows what THAT is?)
