“I enjoyed this debate- it really showed the age difference and health difference between 2 vice-presidents.
and who was that woman asking the questions? - I was cracking up when she accidently gave Edwards 15 seconds to respond to what you hear and what you see as a result of the Leave No Child behind ruccus. You hear the words Shrub supports this, then you see the results that the money is not there. Edwards summmed it up in 15 seconds- accountability-

seems strange that we never see Ms. Rice anymore- I mean in an election all about security- and the economy- wouldn't we see some input from the chief of security herself? Maybe in one of the Southern swing states? hahahahaha

Did it look like Chain-e was drooping a bit- leaning his chin on his elbows? He looked a bit droopy- maybe having a heart attack may make him ineligible to be vice president- even with the best prescription care money can buy- won't fix a bad health condition.
Raising taxes on
Small business owners, that make more than 200,000 yr.???? Tell me that it ain't so. that he really meant small business owners that barely get by on 20,000 yr like the rest of us living paycheck to paycheck. While inflation eats your paycheck away- the American dream- 300,000 in stocks and bonds- then you don't have to work- just live on dividends by the pool- You don't have to be a millionaire to live in Shrub's world- Just save $300,000 and you too can be saved- one man, one woman, two children under 17. (sarcasm- in case you missed it):)”

“lee, I think mentioning a candidates child for any reason, good, bad or indifferent is wrong and unacceptable. A child is independent from their parents. It's like Edwards bringing up Cheney's next door neighbors and what they are like and what they stand for. What's the point?”

“Personally, I like Edwards. I think the same thing is happening to him that happened to Lieberman in 2000. They must reflect the views of thier more liberal running mates. Edwards is totally contradicting his earlier statements about Iraq to try and sound more anti-war and more liberal. Lieberman politically whored himself out to Gore, now Edwards is as well. Edwards is a smooth talker like Kerry. He completely danced around the whole "Global Test" question. I mean, how can you have a "Global Test" yet still say we can act unilaterally in our best interests if we want? That makes absolutely no sense. They're trying to play both sides, as usual. And why are they so gung-ho on restructering our intelligence when they didn't even bother showing up to the vast majority of intelligence committee meetings after the World Trade Center bombing? It makes no sense. And how can they slam the interim leader of Iraq, and say this war was wrong and unnecessary, yet turn around and suggest they can get more allies to help us? Are people actually listening to what these guys are saying beyond all the polished rhetoric? I sure hope so! Seriously, it makes no sense to me, even looking at it objectively.”

“Actually, I don't know if everyone knew that Cheney's daughter was gay, but if they didn't, Edwards "outed" her last night during the debate. Can someone go lower than to do that? I think Edwards set a new standard for having no class or integrity as a human being for doing that.”

“Well, the same was said about Edwards about that he lied about certain things he said during the debate. Okay, so now we're at a Mexican standoff.”

“It seems to me that someone who would lie about such an easily disproven matter as whether he had ever met Edwards or not would lie about just about anything. He’s been lying about the Iraq/al Qaeda connection, he lied about the Halliburton charges, etc, etc… Is it possible that Cheney has a pathological lying disorder? It’s probably worthy of professional analysis.”

“V, apparently FActcheck.com was inundated with hits after the debate and the had to route all the traffic to a site run by George Soros, who has no love of the Bush/Cheney campaign. Cheney meant to direct them to factcheck.org, a non-partisan site run by the University of Pa.”
