This conference call is soooooo boring!

What about saying you have another commitment ask if someone can send you a summary email of what is discussed?”

“Friend of mine is an HR manager and one of the engineers at her plant got caught slapping the monkey at his desk in his office. I'd not suggest going that route to releive yourself of boredom unless you like the nickname "Spanky".”

“LOL...sorry I know how the "talk to hear yourself talk" types are. We get the GOVERNMENT types who get on conference call and start BABBLING...so three of us are on IM sending messages commenting on the Babbler...kidna fun.”

“We had a guy in one of our branches fall asleep and start snoring during a conference call one time. The guy talking said maybe he will have to start adding some spice to his conference calls in the future. He took it pretty well.”

“We were in a conference call when one of the guys started playing the "computer lines" where you get prerecorded stuff....his was a woman hitting the "high notes" three of us were forwarned but there was a Regional Director and the HUD guru who were stopping to listen to some woman getting some action. The whole time my friend, I and the other agent were acting like NOTHING was happening....”

We have a conference call once a week...there's one woman who sounds like she's calling from her deathbed every week...LOL! I swear she tries to sound like she has the worst cold known to man so everyone feels sorry for her. And I can't even IM my boss and make fun of her, b/c we use a type of VOIP and everyone can hear you typing and IMing. The quality is actually almost too good, it sounds like everyone's sitting inside of my ear, talking.”
