There are so many ways we can look at this. First and foremost look at lost tax revenues. Some American hires an illegal and pays him under the table. Now times that by the total number of illegals we have…carry the 2…a bunch of phucking money! Does it not bother you that you work your ass off at a job you worked to get so you could get subsidized health insurance yet some one who entered the country illegally can walk into any ER in the country and get full treatment without being turned away for FREE? Do some reading up on what California is going through and the costs they incur dealing with illegal immigrants.

Fudging? Cash tips in cities are never claimed.

The place I get my haircut accepts only cash tips : after they tell you the cost of the cut and you produce a card, they ask you if you need any "cash".

This is way more than "Pedro" and his extended family pull in.

Never said this either. Many poor people come here and make great things happen for themselves. But let’s face facts, someone who has a lot to offer has a better chance of getting in than someone who has nothing to offer.

Hell, I know a lot of people who were born here that do that. I did it for 10 years at 2 and sometimes 3 jobs. But here you are mottling the legal and the illegal together. An illegal who is working two and three jobs is just compounding the problem.

Illegals probably make under 8/hr in DC. Yes, I would say a vast majority of people in the service industry do more than that in cash tips.

No. it goes along with one of my points - they aren't looking for a free ride, they are looking for a better life.

Advantages? They do the work no one else wants. And just think, they can't claim unimployment or get welfare, how nice is that!? They increase the potential of this country to do great things.

We will never agree on this. I don't see illegals as a major issue. I have no problem trying to stop the flow. Of course we can't have open borders.

But I will not begrudge any person who makes it into this country because they want a better life for them and their family.
