Full lunar eclipse 10/27

“A full lunar eclipse will occur on October 27th, starting at 9:14 pm Eastern (totality starts 10:23 pm). It will be visible in all time zones in North America except for the beginning for the Pacific.

Easy time, fully visible, now just pray for clear skies!

“We are supposed to have scattered clouds in Eastern Arkansas. Last night would have been a great night for the eclipse as the clouds didn't roll in until around 11 or so. Hopefully, tonight will be clear.”

“It's predicted to be clear in the Northeast tonight. This should be spectacular. I was out last night looking at the nearly full moon. There are definite benefits to living in an area with virtually zero light pollution.”

“It's so flat here, we not only get the light pollution from Memphis (downtown is 8 miles) but also from Jonesboro (about 40 miles).

You don't notice it too much until you start stargazing and realize that you can't see nearly as much as you do somewhere more remote.”
