If fact I booked 2 rooms. One for the 23rd, PARTY!! and one for the 15th, so us car shuttlers will have a place to ron-day-voo.

If you are also looking for a room on the 15th, better start calling NOW. I just got the last one at the Villa.”

“Dow Villa suggestion, you know how they ask you to call and confirm before 6 PM the night of your stay? And, being Wheezers and Geezers, we may not be down off the mountain by 6 PM....... Cubfan posted on the High Sierra thread that he was able to prepay for his room at Dow Willa and avoid possibly losing it because he did not adequately confirm that he would indeed arrive eventually. Looks like TT has taken on the Dow Villa this summer.”

“ok, just booked my room for July 15th and July 23rd. The lady did tell me that if we were arriving after 6:00 PM to call and let them know. I told here we would be coming down from the mountains so that may be a problem. She said if we confirm before we leave on Sat July 17th that should be good enough.
I am still waiting on Southwest to post their fares for July.”

“I reserved my Shepherd Pass Permit today. I'm going in on July 1st and coming out on the 4th - that will give me time to do Williamson and another peak too. If this snow keeps coming, I'll be lucky to get over Shepherd in early July.”

And Navi, Hodge, and rockman, it does seem that the tarp for our hanging shower gets thinner and thinner each year. It's usually Navi and Hodge who pick the spot to hang the tarp directly in front of the sun.”

“Hikerchick- Yes, I would like to get in on your permit. I see you also put in for the Whitney summit so I will need to be on the Whitney permit. That works out great. Don't worry about the Dow Villa money for now. We can figure out the difference of the hotel/permit etc....in July.
So far, I plan on riding up with Wannabp. Coming from the Sac area.”
