I forgot my lunch this morning... and I'm looking for a quick bite to eat. Do I want:

1. Subway
2. Waffle House
3. Burger King
4. Arby's
5. Mc Donalds

I'm leaning towards Waffle house myself... I love breakfast food. What say yee?

Probably BK, McD's, or Wendy's on the way out of town to Northern Colorado.

The fall colors should still be awesome!!!

I'd say go to Waffle house and have a bowl of oatmeal (good for cholesterol) and fresh fruit with a glass of orange juice.... Maybe a slice of ham (high in sodium, but not as fatty as sausage)?

Or just forget the "good stuff" and have biscuits and gravy with corned beef hash.. that will clog your arteries!

Subway does something weird with their hot peppers. Every time I eat there, I get an upset stomach. We have a place called Blimpies and their subs are way better than Subway.

You should have seen the dish I invented last night. It was a baked pasta loaded with Ricotta cheese and Feta cheese topped in a thick layer of Mozzarella. I could probably use some fiber right now... lol

go to waffle house and get the largest order of hash browns. They have to be scattered, smothered, diced, chopped and all of the others words that you can add to it. Then get a large bowl of grits assuming your from the south. A few slices of bacon, 3 runny eggs, toast and big waffle with lots of butter and syrup. A gallon of coffee to drink it all down with

or

go get a hamburger from one of those nasty fast food places

Awful Waffle (said affectionately) is always the right choice. And those hash browns chunked, topped, smothered, etc. etc. are the best!

Rent 'Super Size Me' before you make a decision.

BTW, what I call the breakfast obsession has arrived in Quebec. Who could possibally think that a diet of bacon, eggs, toast with grease, as well as (good grief) hash browns could be good for you and why would anyone eat that stuff during the day (and hope to work throughout the afternoon?

My theory is that breakfast was the only time that at least most of the family was to-gether - father reading the paper, mother at the counter making lunches and Douglas kicking his sister under the table and (perhaps) no f*ing TV.

That's it - I'm gone.

The Waffle House got a real bad write up for uncleanliness. It was just on tv on one of those shows like 20/20 or Dateline.

A few months ago, I tasted Arby's french fries. They make the best fries, hands down. Their turkey and bacon sandwich on wheat bread is good with a little mayo and pepper.

deodorant, what you made is called Baked Ziti. You did not invent it, lol. It's made with ziti or any pasta with ricotta and mozzerella with red sauce and you bake it.

Is it Subway that has a new roast beef sandwhich that comes with au jus, which is the natural juice of the beef you put on or dunk your sandwhich in.

I don't think anyone has ever heard of this place since it's privately owned and I believe there is only one called "Brennan and Carrs" in Brooklyn, NY. They dip the roast beef in au jus, put in on the roll, the dip the roll in au jus. The whole thing is a soggy mess, but it's fantastic.

My personal sandwich which I invented is the potato sandwich. You peel and cut potatoes into thick slices and deep fry, then salt and put on a roll. To go further, add crisp bacon. That is the best eating a person can do.

On the road, I would order an American Meal, I think it's called, from McDonalds. You get a hamburger, small fries and a drink and it's cheap. I give the burger to my dog, and make a fry sandwich with the roll and fries.

Bread and potatoes go together. That's why they make potatoes rolls.
