How stupid do you sound when you are chanting the ultra-stupid "Who's your daddy?" when you're behind by seven runs????
My prediction? Darth Steinbrenner will buy Carlos Beltran in the off season. It's not a coincidence that the Yankmee GM is named CASHman. Throw the money around, George.
YANKEES LOSE, YANKEES LOSE, YANKEES LOSE!!!!

How sweet it is!

Did I mention that the Yankmychains have lost after being so smugly ahead three games to nothing???
I guess that "daddy" chant didn't work for them.
Don't worry, Georgie will go out and spread a LOT of cash around in the off season.

I'm not really into baseball anymore, but it was an amazing series.

However I do find it interesting how "Spew-S-A" felt the need to jump online right away to spread his trollish brand of negativity.

Such a friendly fellow, how many TT hikes have you been on, or do you just troll the board for the fuego threads? Do you even own a backpack???

If the Sox win the series they'll be on a roll for the next 80 plus years. The curse of Ted William's head is on the Yankees.

The team with the second highest payroll beat the team with the first highest payroll to get into the world series... this is something to be excited about?

Unfortunately, until there is real profit sharing in baseball similar to the NFL, you will have to fight fire with fire. The Yankmees wrote the book on spending cash, and the Sox had to write the checks to compete. 'Nuff said.

The series was right in their hands. No excuse for dropping a 3-0 lead. The Sox were the hungrier team. It became a bit of an endurance contest since the two looooooong games. Red Sox didn't show any weariness (although it would have been understandable if they did), but the Yankees looked tired and played that way. Totally flat. But, hey. That's the kind of stuff that makes these games exciting. Congrats to the Red Sox. They performed fine.

(quiet aside) Now, should we tell 'em or wait?

(psssst, there really was no curse. We just wanted to see how long we could string you along. almost 100 years! lmao)

I thought the curse was the Red Sox would never again win a World Series.

I do have this to say. Last night was the first time I sat and watched more than an inning of baseball on TV. Congrats to the Red Sox.

Hey, if they were going to lose, at least wasn't a nailbiter that I sat through for 4 agonizing hours. I probably didn't watch more than an inning and a half of this one!

Truth is, I have watched them win many times. Let the Sox enjoy their glory! All power to 'em! They really do deserve it. They are a superb team. I think they will win the series, too.

Think about it. You may be able to root for the team from Massachusetts against the team from Texas.

That should come naturally enough.

Enjoy it while you can... now you just need to destroy things like 1986 and the ghost of Bill Buckner...

My crystal ball is showing a triumphant NL team in the World Series this year... wait the fog is starting to clear a little, and it looks something like:
