“The Tevas I snagged at a Ross's Dress for Less. The Timberlands were at the Timberland Outlet at Tanger Five Oaks outlet in Pigeon Forge. They were marked down to $59 from $86 and then had another 75% off. You *may* be able to find the Tevas... they are a pseudo water shoe/ tennis shoe. I really like em.

I did TELL you about the Tevas Pixalu.

I passed on some $39 clarks and $39 Borns... both were very nice shoes but I didn't need another brown leather causal shoe.”

“You know, there is something to be said about short men and the "Napolean complex". One of my best friends recently finalized a divorce... Her ex was about about 5'7" or 5'8"... she's 5'10". On top of that, he was also 7 years younger. She told me that from day 1, he had issues about whether or not she "looked up" to him (figuratively...but as it turns out, we think it was a literal situation as well...). Now that he's "free" to date new people, I suspect his next wife (if and when he gets one) will 1) be shorter than him, 2) be younger than him, 3) make less money than him 4) will be less intelligent.... Unfortunately, those were all issues that disturbed him enough to lead to him divorcing my friend... (other issues, too, but those were things that bothered him immensely.)

Several men I know who are shorter in stature have strong issues about whether other people respect them--they feel compelled to "throw their weight around" because they don't think others take them seriously.

Also, I have a few taller (and well-endowed)female friends who notice that short guys would ask them to dance (hmmm... wonder why? "nice set of eyes"... as the saying goes....LOL)

am just a "tom boy" through and through, i guess, haven't worn heels since i school.i will never reveal my shoe size on a public forum, but i do feel much better about them since my pedicure last Wednesday, plans to repeat the procedure on a regular basis are in the works, for mental health purposes”
