OOOOHHHHHHHH BOY!!!!!!!

They retail for $575. They were way on sale, however, they are still way more than I can afford.

So today I was chatting with my most awesome boyfriend, and I tell him about the shoes and how great they are, but that I just can't pay that kind of money for a pair of shoes, even if they are Blahniks. And then he said he wanted to get them for me!!!!!! I told him no way. But he persistently insisted. So I should get them next week sometime I think. I am just reeling in shock this afternoon.

Of course, I can never wear them because I will be afraid of getting them dirty or wrecking a heel.

Oh, well I thought Manolo's cost more than that, so it's better than I thought. ; )
It's no worse than my Choos. and I find that these expensive shoes are so well made that they are easier to walk in. The engineering behind the heel makes them more balanced or something. Instead of some shmuck just randomly placing a spiked heel on the shoe and calling it good.

But I've discovered amazing comfort and cuteness. Sofft brand (umlauds over the o) Since I've been commuting by bus, I have to walk a bit more and in nice outfits. Plus the foot injury thing. These are great. I got these ones at Nordstrom's (not the Rack : ( Full price.)They are amazing. It's so supportive and squishy. My feet are so happy wearing them. They feel so good.

Now I want to order these:

I also recently got:
Danskos. Not nearly as much arch support as my Dansko shoes, but still pretty comfy. And the cute 40's inspired strap. Yay!

and these Softwalks aptly named "pixley" LOL!

dang...i bought me some shoes today...$18.99 LOL. Can't find a picture online or i would post one.

pixe...they look comfortable. I need a pair that looks really good with jeans is is really comfortable. Also got to look hmmm... not too bulky. I have tons of bulky shoes. trying to get away from this style.

Ruby..nice shoes...but woahhhh girl!!! LMAO. I think I am way too affordable. I must change that!

on another note: I wanted to buy clothes today in the Ladies department. I just can't!! I have a problem. I keep ending up in the Junior and at American Eagle. I think I need a makeover! I don't know how to dress in the ladies department.

Pixie, you have Choos? You lucky girl. I like the look of the Soffts. They look very comfortable and stylish without looking like clunky Birkenstocks.

I know the shoes are expensive. However, there is such a world of difference between them and something I buy at Payless. And I definitely shop there, too. It's like the difference between a Mountain Hardware tent and one from Coleman. To someone who doesn't get it, you will never be able to convince them that paying so much more money for a tent is worthwhile.

When a woman asks me what I think of high-heels, I tell them to try a pair. If they can't see the magic then they should stick to Reeboks.

Hey Gem, I didn't think you were giving me a hard time at all. I guess I'm trying to justify to myself just putting them on MY feet even if I'm not paying for them. Dang, I think I will have to wear flip flops around the city and then change shoes when I get to my destination out of nervousness.

LMAO!! Kind a like my kid not wanna wear his brand new white sneakers...LOL

I asked him today, and his answer was "they are too white for today". LOL

my most expensive pair of shoes were I think $150 to $200...I can't really remember.
It's been a while. Oh....not talking bout hiking boots, I spend a fortune on those suckers.

Normal price range for me between $50 and $80

holding my head in shame...
bought 2 pair of shoes today.

sandals.
almost bought a T-shirt that said "will work for shoes" but thought I better not

price 1st pair: $11
second pair: $9.00

damn, I got a good deal at HJ Wright or however that store was called.

Original price $50 and $70 I think. Really cute thou.

Ruby! don't worry...no need to get burried in them...hmm...I think. I think if you really like something, get it...at least once in a while.

Other people spend that kind a money on Rims for a car or other crazy things.

oh...my white ones I bought yesterday are kind a like that:

the black ones I bought today are similar to them [pic. them in black]:

and I bought some looking a little like that:

I wanted something comfortable, but with a heal, and they pretty much all are very comfy. They are not too bulky either because they are cut pretty narrow. (not like the old style in the 70s)

Yeah, they are all pretty close to what mine look like.

I don't know what I have with those heals right now and flowers... 2 pair of my shoes have flowers. LOL

all pretty casual thou, so i can wear them with jeans.

i got to stop it!!!! Right now it's shoes, next week it'll be jackets, a couple weeks a go it was purses.

Great wedge sandals!!! I love them. And what a deal!

I know what you mean about jackets and purses. Last week I bought two of the cutest Steve Madden purses on ebay. Each of them retailed for $78 a piece. With shipping I paid $27 for two. My boys are starting to give me a hard time about having so many shoes and handbags. I countered with, "Do you have more than one pair of underwear? It's the same thing."

Two nights ago I went to Costco. They had the cutest fitted corduroy jackets. They were $18 each and I had a $4 off coupon. So I bought two in different colors for a grand total of $28. One of them is actually going to look killer with my new Manolos. :D

Here's a link to some I saw on ebay. They are pink and reminded me of Gemini. ;)

NICE Ruby!! I think I have only one pair of pink shoes. I do have some animal print ones thou...

Most of my shoes are brown and black. Pathetic. I really need to get me some green ones and maybe another pair of pink. Oh...and turqoise would be nice too.

I sort of like the sparkly look with the rugget look. or the oriental style birkenstocks... it think they would go great with jeans.
