They have a three petaled flower just above the toes. :)” 1:10:29 PM 5/17/07 “Ya know what a three-petal flower means, don't ya?” 1:14:00 PM 5/17/07 “No Mark but I'm sure ya gonna tell us...Pllllleeease!” 1:15:00 PM 5/17/07 “You just stay away from my petals!” 1:36:54 PM 5/17/07 “Ha ha!! I haven't got a clue!” 1:37:52 PM 5/17/07 “I've got on my pointy toed, uber-girly pink, kitten-heeled mules today. :)” 12:51:08 PM 5/22/07 “Nest time I'm in New York, I'm gonna have to visit... NY Shoe Store Gets Its Own ZIP Code By Associated Press Sat May 26, 1:35 PM NEW YORK - Saks Fifth Avenue says its new shoe department is so big that it's getting its own ZIP code. The Manhattan store is revamping its shoe department, and when it moves from the fourth floor to an 8,500-square-foot space on the eighth floor in August, customers will be able to send mail to 10022-SHOE. "We believe it's such a big move for us it deserves its own ZIP code," Saks spokeswoman Lesley Langsam Kennedy said Thursday. "We wanted to make it a destination." The retailer worked with the U.S. Postal Service on the new ZIP code _ but only the last four characters, which aren't necessary when mailing something, are specialized. The rest of the neighborhood shares 10022. Saks operates 54 stores in 25 states and two stores in the Middle East.” 9:05:38 AM 5/28/07 “ ![]() Saw these and immediately thought of you Ladies and your Shoe Thread. 9:53:22 PM 7/03/07 “I'd like mine with a steel toe, please.” 7:06:33 AM 7/04/07 “Those are awesome!!!” 7:13:33 AM 7/04/07 “"If you build it, they will come." (high-heeled Duck Boots? LOL)” 7:24:13 AM 7/04/07 “ ![]() I was looking for this LL Bean parody at the time... for Sarabelle. 4:04:30 PM 7/04/07 SWEET DEALIO “ ![]() Today I scored these Mephisto Allrounders in dusty blue. They retail on Zappos for $133.95. I paid 34.90 at Nordstrom's Rack (and I paid with a $50 gift card). As soon as I got out the door I slipped off my heels and put these on to finish my walk to my car. What a heavenly pair of shoes with wonderful arch support and heel shock absorbtion.” 12:09:37 PM 7/17/07 “133.95! Yikes! Only a half a shoe there!” 12:12:39 PM 7/17/07 “Yeah, I think you usually have to take out an equity loan to get a pair of Mephistos.” 12:52:29 PM 7/17/07 “Good Googly Moogly!!! $133.95!!! That is an awesome buy...but I'm not sure I would of paid that to big with! (the 34.90) that is! I need more she for my buck!” 12:58:41 PM 7/17/07 “More what? LOL” 1:02:46 PM 7/17/07 “I have always been content with clearance priced Tevas to satisfy my flip flop needs. But I have begun to suffer from plantar fasciitis, which is quite painful at times. It seems to be the worst when I have gone too many days in a row wearing shoes with no support (like flip flops). I need to have much better arch support and heel shock absorption to keep the pain at bay. So it's worth the $35 to me. I don't suppose I'll ever be able to afford Mephistos sneakers, though I lust after them.” 1:50:57 PM 7/17/07 “Yeah...I agree Ruby...I wear terrible shoes...I've shocked myself by buy the Keens I have. It is worth the money to have good shoes!” 2:02:18 PM 7/17/07 “ ”1:31:03 PM 9/12/07 “Those shoes made by Hasbro too?” 1:49:20 PM 9/12/07 “I can feel plantar fasciitis kicking in just looking at that photo.” 1:54:23 PM 9/12/07 “Huh? I don't get it. It looks photoshopped. What's the blurry part under the arch?” 2:07:36 PM 9/12/07 “http://pop.wizbangblog.com/2007/09/12/marc-jacobs-got-fashion-all-backwards.php Here's the link, Ruby.” 2:11:29 PM 9/12/07 “still haven't seen a pair as good as the ones that i painted for ErinAnnes' prom.” 5:56:25 PM 9/12/07 “back on page 26” 6:36:40 PM 9/12/07 “ ![]() =) I can actually wear these for fifteen minutes without intense foot pain! Good thing as the day I bought them for starts at 2pm and ends when the bar closes at the after wedding party. I'm really digging the forties inspired fashions lately. Generally I don't get too excited about whatever is the current fad but I love this stuff! last edited: 10/24/07 11:49:26 AM” 11:46:42 AM 10/24/07 “I don't look good in heels” 11:49:24 AM 10/24/07 “I bet your legs look hot though!” 11:49:55 AM 10/24/07 “Your making me blush” 11:54:43 AM 10/24/07 “Very cool shoes! I love them!” 11:57:16 AM 10/24/07 “those are soooo cute sass! I love the 40s inspired shoes too.” 12:00:54 PM 10/24/07 “Do you have a 40s-style dress to wear as well?” 12:02:36 PM 10/24/07 “Hey Ruby...you have the furnace working yet?” 12:03:21 PM 10/24/07 “I love those shoes, Sass! I'd wear those!” 12:08:32 PM 10/24/07 “i was hoping it was gonna be a pic. of the Merrell Chamelon wrap gore tex hiking shoes! lol.” 12:09:58 PM 10/24/07 “lol at sweetp” 12:18:27 PM 10/24/07 “No Ruby, unfortunately it's a horrible, floor length, brown polyester satin, tank a-line, with an empire waist. It's almost the color of dark chocolate. The shoes will definitely be the best part of the ensemble. The bride is going to look gorgeous standing next to twelve women dressed as sticks, lol.” 12:37:20 PM 10/24/07 “Oh god Sass, an empire waisted floor length brown dress? That's just begging for a comment about the bride ya know.... (ducks and runs)” 12:42:58 PM 10/24/07 “If you must be a stick, be a sassafras! I was going to offer a great 40s-style black and white dress for you that I have had in my closet for years. I didn't realize your were a bridesmaid. So sorry. :(” 12:43:16 PM 10/24/07 “Isn't that the first rule of bridesmaids' dresses.... to be as scary as possible?” 1:32:42 PM 10/24/07 “I guess. It just sucks to pay $159.00 plus another $60 for alterations on a scary dress. That's almost the price of a six moon designs Duo! At least I can don my Santa hat and the dress next Halloween and go as Mr. Hanky! =D” 1:38:39 PM 10/24/07 “Sass, I've been in 6 weddings now and have been thinking about making a quilt or something out of my dresses. I mean, they have just been sitting in my closet for years, and I spent so much money on them, I need to do SOMETHING!” 1:47:05 PM 10/24/07 “Sass beat me to it! I was just going to say "There's always Halloween!" I saved a few Disco shirts for that express purpose (no polyester leisure suits).” 1:50:55 PM 10/24/07 “EW! Bootys! I do not like warin bootys be cuz they make me walk like a hog walks.” 1:56:54 PM 10/24/07 “you could always sell the old hideous dresses..you might be able to make alil mulah outa it. If not you could donate it to goodwill...or make someething outa it. ...sooo since when is empire waisted stuff so bad?” 2:00:30 PM 10/24/07 “I posted this on "get up," but it seems more appropriate here: “Here's something I don't get, one of the few things ALL women can agree on is that they universally hate bridesmaids dresses. Agreed? Why do brides pick fugly bridesmaids dresses? Is it a, "You made me wear an ugly one, I'll make you wear one," type of thing? This is one of lifes mysteries.”” 2:03:56 PM 10/24/07 Jump to Page << prev
