Sweetpeastu, I actually like an empire waist but this dress is just Blah. Maybe it will be more appealing after it fits and I've got nice jewelry and stuff. And Merrells rock, but no gore tex for me thank you very much. Gore tex = blisters on my tootsies.”

Tilt, I am one of those running shoe people. =) I wear boots only in winter. I didn't even have a pair until I busted my foot. After the cast my ankle was all skinny and weak so I figured I better.”

I had Ankles of Steel a few decades ago, but I played soccer all through high school and developed a bad habit of missing the ball and kicking the hell out of the Ground,   LOL    It's just not beneficial to the old ankle bones!  I gots ta have that ankle support.

Those are surprisingly light, though.  The tread (outsole?) is really lightweight.
