Mold Spots
Does anyone know how to get mold off of silnylon with damaging the silicone coating?

I used baking soda and vinegar to get mold off the soft top of my Jeep. It worked real well.

A guess
Take a look at bathroom cleaners that say they are safe to use on tile. Since silicone is so often used to seal the seams between tile and tub, or tub and floor, it shouldn't hurt your fabric. The silicone in silnylon is the same as what you can buy at Home Depot in a caulking tube.

Usual disclaimer - try it first on a silnylon baggie or scrap first.

I had that same problem. I was just going to give it a good coating with the spray on silicon but after reading this I'll try cleaning first.

The only thing I know that gets rid of mold is bleach, and I don't suggest using that. I just looked at my tub mildew remover and it contains bleach.

I would call REI, if you have one in your state or see if they have an 800 number, where you can ask a question.

Don't do anything drastic or you may ruin your tent.
