“Pamela, the water rushing in would've prevented Charley from climbing out. I thought he should've gone out the door and straight for the scuba gear. But, as Birch was so quick to remind me, this is TVland and the water would've changed the pressure so rapidly in that station that they'd have been bleeding from their eyeballs (his words), so closing the door and dying was Charley's only choice.

“The foreward story was a great twist. Now we are to wonder if getting off the island is a good idea. So rather than the viewers "hoping" that they somehow get off the island, we are to hope that they stay on the island.

That makes me wonder who the heck is going to show up to take them off the island. I wonder if Ben was telling the truth about Naomi not being who said she said.

The person's name in the casket begins with J and the last part of the last name ends with antham. Also, the funeral home appeared to be located in a "black" neighbourhood suggesting that the person in the casket is black....maybe Michael. Based on what we know about Michael, it seems he wouldn't have anybody show up at his funeral. But what is contrasting is why would Jack be so uptight about him being dead. Unless of course we haven't yet seen what he will do in Season 4. Although one could make a case, a slightly wimpy one, that Jack was mad at him regarding his betrayal last season. I don't know about all that. Anyway, Harrold Perrineau will likely be returning in Season 4 since he announced it in a recent interview.

Well....good-bye Charlie....he wanted out because he felt he wasn't used enough as an actor that is....Season 4 should have a teary episode when Desi gets back and tells Claire about what happened in TLG.....his death should remind us as viewers that nobody is untouchable on this show....its not like some smuck on Miami Vice holding a gun to Tubbs' head....you know darn well Tubbs ain't gonna die and that somehow the smuck will be put down....

“Matt, I believe Lindelhof and Cuse are only contracted until 2010 which gives us another 2 or 3 seasons....given that, they now need to begin to plant seeds on what happens "after" they're rescued. This way they can use "flash forwards" to get us to when they are eventually rescued.

Naveen Andrews is reportedly disgruntled with his parts just like Dominic so don't be surprised if Sayid is killed off next Season.

Also, don't be surprised if next Season begins elsewhere other than where this season ended....which is the formula they've been using when they kick off a season.

“the producers have announced the upcoming schedule: 3 seasons of 16 episodes each. thats a total of 48. personally, i'd rather them do 2 seasons of 24 episodes.

i'd hate to see them kill off sayid. he's a great character. i can understand actors being disgruntled. theyve got a huge cast and only so much camera time to go around.”

“Did anyone watch the pilot of "Eli Stone" last week after lost? The show was really really good, but most importantly there was an ad from Oceanic Airlines about 2/3's of the way through.
It consisted of a bunch of flight attendants talking about going places, but occasionally there would be interference in which a guy I don't recognize would say "Don't believe them, they're lying...they didn't find it" and it would flash from his face to film of the Lost crew's plane (I forget the flight number) on the floor of the ocean.”

There are spoilers out there on the web from people who've seen production photos and from that have figured out the other three, and the people with those spoilers agree on those three, so it seems as though they're right, I would expect to find out at least one, if not two others tonight.

The writers always shock us and they are always thinking outside-the-box and so is your theory!

I don't think we will find out who was in the casket for a while. Perhaps next season but who knows. The writers seem very unpredictable and throw in answers when you least expect it.

One theory on why they don't want to be found....

What if Locke gets off the Island...will he be able to walk? Locke is a leader on the Island. People look up to him for survival and for answers. He was a nobody in society. If I were him I wouldn't want to leave the Island.

Hurley chose not to leave intially. Sawyer found his revenge on the Island so he had nothing to go back to.

Jack had some sort of life and a decent job. Kate was willing to leave the Island to be with Jack. Juliet wanted to go be with her sister.

So to wrap this long rant up...

For each individual character you have to look at what they have back in society. Is it worth leaving the Island for? The Island has everything they need. Validity, Acceptance...whatever it was you were missing in society.

That's my 2 cents.”
