there won't be a new episode until April 24th. The same night as Grey's Anatomy. Another show my wife and I enjoy watching.

As far as who is bad and good, I feel like right now the writers are leaving it up to the viewers to decide. I think its a Widmore versus Ben thing. Right now I see Ben as being good ( I know, I know) and Widmore being bad. But I know there will be a huge twist somewhere that will make me second guess myself.”

duh. the polar bear is good and the smoke-monster is bad

ben is shaping up nicely as the character-you-thought-was-bad-but-maybe-is-good, and widmore is the classic arch-villain, but i'd bet that widmore is not a bad guy either. that conception will probably get turned on its head when they do his backstory

its all a matter of conflicting interests. from sayids point of view, michael is a traitor, and hes doing the right thing exposing him. but the viewer knows its more complicated than that, and that sayid may be making a mistake

or jack may have thought he was doing the right thing bringing widmores ppl to the island, but the viewer realizes he may have doomed them all”

“I am thinking that ben and his people created the fake crash and that Widmore wants to expose Ben and his group.

Also, who do you think killed the girls boyfriend? I belive that her mother is still alive because I don't recall seeing any blood on her like the boy. I believe that it wasn't the group in the capsule that was shooting at them but the other 'others' were.”

“The group that the 3 were heading to. ben called it the Capsule. Back in the first or second season, there was a group that the others feared. We only saw then once, they were in rags with bare feet. I believe they were the original inhabitants of the island if I remember right.”

“I think Ben is the only totally evil character. Everyone else has their good and bad, with the possible exception of Ben's goon who found Michael in the alley. Everything Ben says is a distortion of the truth or a complete lie. And he doesn't care about his daughter - she's not really his daughter. After the people get off the island Ben is still ruining their lives.”

That whole scene near the end with Hurley and Ben waiting outside the cabin with the candy bar (or whatever) was rather comical. Very clever writing to insert humour during a moment of anticipation of fear. I thought it was really funny.”

picking the knife was symbolic of the walkabout john has to go on later in his life. im not sure why dude was not happy about it

“That's why I was thinking that Locke picked the knife intentionally to piss off the dude....an avoidance manuvuer...in another words make him go away....and I see your point about the connection to the walkabout.

The person in the casket has yet to be revealed, so next week's episode may show us a clue as to who is inside the casket....since we haven't "officially" been presented the Oceanic 6, other than by process of elimination, we may see who else is with them that might not be an O6 member which gives us possible candidates for the casket...we know its someone from the island...simple, but who? Is it someone that is not considered an O6 member or is it simply someone from the island that was "rescued" and is incognito from society/press and only the O6 know of his/her whereabouts....i'm just fishin' and ramblin' on.........”
