This past week my family and I visited the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and MGM. My wifes sister, her husband, and there son and my family all stayed in a condo about 10 miles off site. We drove down Friday, played Sat-Wed, and drove home Thursday. This was my first trip there and we all had a blast. Here are the pics for those that are interested. Be forewarned that they are 90% kids pics.

It was great. They are going to be Mickey and Minnie for Halloween. Their grandmother made the costumes. I'll post in a few days. They look great.

That's cool. I'll have to look at your photos at home where I have a fast connection.

My family along with my parents, both of my sisters and their families and my brother are going in January. I'm really looking forward to it.

V - It'll be great. I'll try to think of some tips. I recommend getting one of those books all about Disney, reading it, and plan from it. We called my wife "Tour Guide Barbie," but everything worked without a hitch. There is so much to see that you have to figure it out ahead of time. Also, Disney doesn't have to be super expensive. We packed our lunch each day and had a picnic. Otherwise each lunch would have been $25-$30 for 2 adults and 2 small kids. What a rip. OTOH - you're used to Northeast prices which are probably close to the Disney screw you prices.

I didn't get to make teh Mt Mitchell trip. I got christened King Bailer by some folks for that. lol

definitely packing a lunch is the way to go or you'll quickly blow through tons of dollars.

Excluding tickets and lodging I think we spent $600 total.
