Holy crap.. check this out.

Carroll County News Leader (10/26/04): A McKenzie farmhand has been charged with attempting to acquire chemical weapons, explosives, and weapons of mass destruction with the intent to "blow up" government buildings.

Demetrius "Van" Crocker, 39 of 17855 Highland Drive was arrested Monday after an undercover federal agent met him in Jackson to deliver fake explosives and what Crocker thought were ingredients for Sarin, considered one of the world's deadliest chemical warfare agents.

His arrest ended a Federal investigation that began on April 1 with information given to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. A witness reported to local law enforcement officials that Crocker had inquired about where he could get "nuclear waste and/or nuclear materials."

>> The article went on to say how Crocker had total hatred for the US Government and thought "it would be a good thing if someone could detonate some weapon of mass destruction in Washington DC when both the US Congress and Senate were both in session," and had made comments to the effect that America needs to be "taken back by the people."

I just received a weird magazine in the mail advertizing Delta books.

WOW, the first few pages were devoted to books about great snipers and how to become an expert sniper. Followed by books on how to make silencers at home, cheap, from soda bottles or soda cans etc.
Then we get to the anarchists cookbook, how to make grenades at home.
Then sections on how-to books for fake IDs, how to disappear, survivalist books,

It went on and on

WTF how did I get on the mailing list for this crap ?

Is it serious or is it an FBI sting to identify people who are after this type of crap

Answer - I bought zip off pants from Sportsmans Guide. We use slightly different spelling of our name to trace who sells their mail list.

So I know where they got my name, but still do not know if this outfit is for real or a sting.
Actually hope it is a sting.
