Shawnee State Forest

“I plan on hiking the Shawnee State Forest B.P. trail next weekend, and was wondering if anyone knew if water is still available at the campsites this time of year.”

“Snyder, contact the ohio state parks for a definite answer. I have been to Zeleski in december and there was water trucked in so I would assume the same for shawnee.”

“I've been there during a real cold MLK Jr. holiday and the water was still flowing. I believe the only time it's not topped off is when the roads are in bad condition and they can't get the truck up there. Of course, after a certain time of the year they probably don't have to make very many trips.”
