Day 1 of a 3 day trip. Due to the early snowfall in the White Mtns, we had to change our plans. Didn't do Boundary/Montgomery Pks, and looked for any trail that was accessible”

Phil, the picture is the lake just before Tamarack Lodge, I think Twin Lakes? Our friends got married there in June, and we all stood on that bridge ( http://community.webshots.com/photo/153898326/168018810XbDhvU )

Phil, I drove right up to the lake. A little snow, but it was plowed.

Tango, I wish I would have stopped to get some of those sky colors. A lot of them were blurry because I was driving when I took them. We were meeting people for dinner and were running late.

Mammoth got 2 more feet of powder the week after that picture was taken. The mountain got 82" snow in October!”
