It's Erection Day..........Let's Erect A President
Well, I for one can't wait for this day to be over with. What with the candidates bashing each other and all, I just want it to all to end.

Can a brotha get an "Amen!"?

They expect a pretty heavy turnout here in PA. Both candidates have been here several times in the last few months. I'll be glad when it's over, but with all the lawyers involved it could drag on like the last time if one wins by a narrow margin.

Freedom is Not Easy or Cheap:
Don\'t worry, one side or the other will be complaining about who we elected President for four more years in either event. Freedom and democracy is not easy and is not cheap. All the complainers are to some degree hypocrites because they did not do all of the following:

1. Personally research the candidates on the issues. Too many people vote because a candidate was taller, first on the ballot, because of a (bought) endorsement, or an empty campaign promise.

2. Register to Vote.

3. Voted in the primary. Why vote in a general election if each party's choice is not the best candidate.

4. Voted in the general election today.

5. Contribute $100 or more to a political candidate or campaign. Today, it is virtually impossible to get elected without an obscene amount of money to get the message out.

6. Volunteer a day or more to work on a political campaign, both in the primary and general election. Without volunteer political workers, it is impossible to get a valid message out for the candidate.

So, to all you future complainers about how bad government is, I say to you, it is your fault unless you did all of the above. You cannot complain without being hypocritical unless you did all of the above. Freedom isn't cheap, nor is it easy.

Prosecutor - Remember, this is a Bush economy, there are folks that just don't have $100. Hardly makes them hypocrites. I can, in most cases, buy your other criteria.

If you are a Kerry supporter and Bush wins, you will pay many times that $100 over in taxes to support that "Wrong War, Wrong Time, Wrong Place".

If you are Bush supporter and Kerry wins, you will pay many times that $100 over in higher taxes to support all of his campaign promises.

Where I live, the Republican party will pay you $200 to act as a pollwatcher today in precincts that are suspect, and you could donate it back. In either event, $100 is cheap compared to what lies ahead for the future.

And to whoever wins..
You've been a trusted friend, Ed!

May our friendship survive it all, and once again our paths might cross long enough to enjoy a mountain peak, or loud waterfall.

Hey TownDawg, neither of us live in a battleground state, and our votes for President will not decide the election.

All of my efforts at home have been supporting local honest candidates. I'm sure you can say the same.

Prosecutor, you still sound like a Bush commercial! Is this the research you have been referring to?
