Campmor has a heavier duty emergency bivy sack for about 30 $ that seems more rugged. I've been thinking of getting it for a winter VBL in my sleeping bag because my Serratus VBL is too tight. Does anyone have some experience with this? The lightweight reflective bags don't last a night with me.”

“But they make so much noise when you sleep in one. I used one when my tent started to leak in a down pour. I put it over my sleeping bag to keep it from getting wet.
It kept it dry, and me warm, but the NOISE
every time you moved wakes you up.”
