Ohio was just called for Bush.
It's all over except for the crying and lawyer crap.

The nation is unified. The fringe radicals on this site are out of touch with main stream America.

I saw Gore speaking for Kerry last week and he was still whining. Someone has to tell this guy to act like a man.

Is it a done deal yet? When does Kerry give his concession speech? It actually sounded like he was giving one earlier this evening when he was saying stuff about being united no matter what happens.

Kerry won't concede Ohio yet, and I guess I don't blame him since it's close.

They're nuts, there's no way they have that much of a margin in the provisionals, I wonder how long it takes them to figure that out?

Democracy Wins....
Republicans pick up seats in the senate.

Republicans pick up seats in the house.

Republicans retain the Presidency.

Republican President wins the popular vote.

Ergo, Republicans have listened to the people, and have the better message.

3/4 of the provisional ballots have to go to Kerry for him to win. They are speculating that 175,000 are outstanding.
lipstick hiker

What ever the number of provisional ballots are, it doesn't mean they'll all count that's why they're provisional. Those ballots would also likey split, which means Bush wins. Libs like grasping at straws just because they don't like the outcome.

George W. Bush and John Kerry are waiting for presidential election projections in just three states. Ohio, which is too close to call, looks like the key but in Iowa and New Mexico results are delayed.

Even if there are 200K provisionals and 90% are valid and 80% of those are from Cuyahoga and 80% of those are for Kerry, that's about 115000 votes, and that's not enough. And that is a very generous analysis.

I'm not in favor of the conceding thing, but hey -- I realize that's a decisive issue. My POV is "what message does it send to Ohio voters" -- I don't want a bunch of legal battles. I don't even want a prolonged outcome -- (We're leaderless, leaderless, run for your lives!) but I also know that by Ohio state law -- all those provisional ballots can't be counted for ten days. Where's our onsite political correspondent? Jay Keynote -- do you have a word for us from the Ohio front?

Jay Keynote: “And then there are the Republicans. These crazy folks have come within 25 miles of infesting Ohio with their point of view. If they get further infiltrated into the state, it's widely believed that the Republicans will immediately destroy all of the Democrats currently living near Lake Michigan, many of which were living peaceably, and certainly not planning on terrorizing each other at some point in the future. The fear is that, in ten years, the general population will include only Republicans, Slacker Democrats, and Independents, which not even an insatiable omnivore like the Republicans will destroy.

Not only are the Republican fat on wealth, they're also disconcertingly agile, faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, etc. etc.. (See the following reference for additional information.) -- http://www.novanotes.com/specul/strong.htm

NOTE: On a good day, a Republican can jump eight feet out of the hot water and have already injured several innocent bystander Democrats. The Republicans refer to this as “collateral damage.”

So what are we doing? Well, various groups are spraying for lawyer infestation in and around Cleveland, but to kill all the lawyers in Cuyahoga County, we would frankly have to nuke ourselves. To combat the Republicans, we have built an invisible wall across the Lake Michigan shoreline. This thing emits an electric charge that repels the Republican, but here's the kicker. Should the power go out, which even with the Homeland Security efforts, DefCom4 is a virtual summertime certainty, should the invisible wall stop working.”

Should Kerry concede? That's perhaps a philosophical question, and perhaps one of democratic strategy. I don't think Gore made himself any friends over the 2000 Florida crying.

Now back to you, Matt.

Hey, Bison. I will survive this. George W. Bush is a deceitful, smug, arrogant prick who has no biz being in the position he's in, IMO. But, that is just it. That's my opinion. Nothing more. Nothing less. I'm just a hard working guy who is struggling to keep a family afloat in this overpriced society. GWB isn't going to help me, nor would much of anybody. So, I am not looking for that. Yes, I wanted this menace out of office. Yes, I think the country is waaaaaaaaay in the wrong direction. Yes, I think there is a lot more damage that this maniac hasn't wrought yet. But, again, my obligation is to my family. I will continue to work hard for them and try to keep my sense of humor, no matter how f_cked up this country becomes. Survival, baby.

Although, I still think that when that crooked, Beavis lookalike, Cheney, dies, they are going to have to screw him into the ground...

Good morning from Bush Country!

Allow me to get one thing out in the open...I told you so! I told you so! I told you so! Dispite the small pockets of mentally defective libal districts like Cleveland the will of the people of my great state has been made clear.

The left has been calling Bush a liar and the worst pres ever yet the best they can come up with still can't beat Bush. It's almost like the worst republican is still better than the best democrat. LOL! Dashel's gone, the right not only didn't lose seats but gained some and George Bush is still our man in Washington. The democrat party just refuses to realize they have nothing to offer the people besides, "We're not them!".

Am I being a sore winner? You betcha! Having had to listen to the crap from the mentally ill libs here for the last 2 years it'll be nice to exact a bit of payback. I'm thinking of referring to them as 'Loser' from here on out and to avoid confusion I will assign a number after the name 'Loser' acording to their ranking. For example. Violin could be Loser #1, Buddha Bush could be Loser #2 (he's actually #1 but he's always been #2 as far as I'm concerned), and so on and so forth.

If ya hated me before...buckle up! :)

“Drive enough fear of terrorist attacks into their minds and voila! It worked...”

Ah yes Treebeard, of course I fully expected the condescending, egotistical, "The average man is so dumb they bought the crap from the right.", excuse. Thanks for the veiled insult btw. I believe the simple fact that the greatest threat AlQada could raise sense the war on terror started was a video tape making more threats has shown that we are winning the fight.

Some guy showed up outside the CNN window and showed off his tee shirt on camera. It read, "F... this sh..." They avoided using camera angles that would have showed him until they got him out of there.

Hell indeed has frozen over.

The Red Sox won the World Series and Bush was re-elected. The rest of the world is laughing at us.

Guess I have nothing left to say when defending America in conversations with foreigners. Nope. Americans are a bunch of fat, unintelligent, idiots.
