Edwards/Kerry Concession Speech

“Edwards speech was totally lackluster, and showed his lack of ability to move forward for America. He may as well have not given a speech. He showed that he was a sore loser, and I watched him and could replace his face with Al Gore's.

I expected a better speech from Kerry, but I didn't get it. He thanked everyone, but fell short when it came to bringing the country together. He gave a two liner about the country staying united. He could have said so much more about uniting ourselves with President Bush for whatever reasons he chose to bring forward, but he didn't.

Kerry's speech also was lackluster, not one that will be considered inspirational or one that will be remembered for any reason. He also may as well have not given a speech.”

i expected edwards and kerry to hug and kiss each other, then tell the world how bush and cheney are totally awesome guys, and how we should all believe whatever they tell us.

i'm sure if bush won he would have given us a wonderfully inspirational speach about uniting behind kerry.

I haven't looked at the figures but unless one person wins with 60% or better this country is divided. To me a 51-49 or 52-48 isn't doing it. That small of a margin is nothing when you look at the whole picture.”
