The Baron Von Hassenfeffer Proposes

“Haven't been active but more a lurker on TT for the last few years. Wanted to post here because we both of us are backpackers.

A week ago "The Baron Von Hassenfeffer" (more commonly known as Richard Bow) proposed marriage. We announced our engagement on Saturday at an autumn BBQ that we held this past weekend at my home in Sacramento.

No firm plans have been made but we are considering taking a trip to Vegas in January.

Viva Las Vegas!!!

Bearmagnet... Yep. Been backpacking since 1998 and spent a good part of the summer traveling without him because he has a job and I don't.

Doesn't mean I prefer going alone, but it always better when you have someone to share gear with... ;-)”
