Does a through hike make you smarter?” 9:36:09 PM 11/04/04 “Bwahhh, Sorry Poops. I give you props for making the hike. I could not have done it.” 9:38:50 PM 11/04/04 “bbw, theres hope for you yet” 9:40:51 PM 11/04/04 “Ack! Don't be getting all gay about it ;-0” 9:43:37 PM 11/04/04 “Do I see a GA-Me '05 in your future?” 9:44:33 PM 11/04/04 “dude, you are too funny and you really surprise me sometimes. c'mere, you big lug!” 9:45:48 PM 11/04/04 ““Do I see a GA-Me '05 in your future?” dont i wish! if i could, i probably would, defineitely in 06 if i could. however i would like to do the long trail and the wonderland trail before i do an end to end of the AT again. if i could only do a section of the trail, say, a quarter of the trail, id do damascus to harpers ferry or kent to katahdin” 9:48:36 PM 11/04/04 “No tongue now, okay.” 9:48:38 PM 11/04/04 “Oh, yeah I'm planning an '05 thru hike in the March/April starting time frame. Most of my questions have been answered in the thread I started, but I'll be happy to bore you with my trivial chatter here as well. Thanks.” 9:54:37 PM 11/04/04 “as a note of interest, milemonster completed an AT thru-hike this year, and g-force has done most of the long trail and is planning an AT thru-hike next year” 9:55:55 PM 11/04/04 “where do you live CB” 9:56:48 PM 11/04/04 How about Aspiring Thru Hikers? “GAME '07? Maybe? Hopefully? If I can make ends meet by then?” 9:56:48 PM 11/04/04 “hoosier state” 9:58:48 PM 11/04/04 “good luck, ps!” 9:59:40 PM 11/04/04 “I'd like to hike the long trail at some point. Did the Northville-Placid trail last summer, which is the only long distance trail in the Adirondacks. Had a blast.” 10:02:38 PM 11/04/04 “how long is it, lz?” 10:04:06 PM 11/04/04 “Even though you have endeared youself to the AT you won't regret exploring other parts of the country” 10:05:08 PM 11/04/04 “Nothing like the AT, it's only 122 miles, but it goes through some of the most remote areas in the park.” 10:06:06 PM 11/04/04 “that would be awesome lz. how many days did you take? did you do any re-supply?” 10:08:39 PM 11/04/04 “My cousin and I did it in 10 days with a couple drops. At one of them a friend brought us subs and a 6 pack. We set it up so it was at our halfway point for that day. We showered in the spillway of a dam while we waited for him to show up. I'd like to do that trail again only take 15 days so I can do some side trips.” 10:16:32 PM 11/04/04 Hey LZ “Don't forget the North Country Trail. After Michigan, New York has the most completed sections of it, and a large chunk of it crosses the southern Adirondacks... Also in NY: The Finger Lakes Trail (500 miles from the Catskills to Allegheny State Park), and the NY Long Path (250 miles from Fort Lee (NJ) to Schenectady. When complete, it's supposed to go all the way to the Canadian border. Unfortunately, outside of Harriman and the Catskills, the Long Path still has a lot of roadwalks...” 10:18:02 PM 11/04/04 Here are the photo's I took “http://community.webshots.com/album/90476757FrfiAL http://community.webshots.com/album/90804014rVJpgb http://community.webshots.com/album/90902565mVAIsO http://community.webshots.com/album/90909051FbKjYf” 10:20:53 PM 11/04/04 “lz, you should put your experiences in trailjournals.com” 10:23:40 PM 11/04/04 “I do have a TR on this board somewhere.” 10:27:30 PM 11/04/04
