Chain Gang reminds me of that Charlie Sheen movie where he's in a military stockade. They played this song when they did their little drill.

When I was doing a story on the Junior ROTC kids, they were mimicking that drill. It was a hoot, but they didn't have the music.

Haven't met her, either. I met him over our famous/infamous Chicago lunch recently. He and Ruby were great! I'd hike with them, now if I only get this job thing settled. lol

Thanks for the ride today.

Treebeard,
I was busy all day and missed the train! I know...my loss! Well, keep up the great music anyway. The show must go on. I'll catch you for a studio visit in a few weeks.

And, the show was awesome.

It was a blues fest w/ four acts. Two nat'l acts (Smither and Corey Harris) and two local acts (Rev Roberts Jones, who used to do an awesome blues show on our public radio station, and Calvin Cooke and his Steel Ensemble). Great combinatin of music.

And, to make it even more enjoyable, the Monroe County Library sponsored the whole show so it was free. :-)

Smither, as usual, played an amazing set.

Just got back from the scouts' trip. As usual, ran me ragged. I think the game of 'Capture the Flag' this morning wore me out finally.

Tara, sorry to miss you today. The Chris Smither show sounds likeit was a blast. I like the CD very much. Hope to catch you soon.

Hey, Phaeddy! You've been missed!

NJ, Geo's coming up next weekend, I believe. Stop in, by all means!

Hey, Mark-O!
