Geo
Not this one, me thinks. The bride seems to come from a wealthy family. There was a dress fitting and bachlorette party here in Chicago a few weeks. I'm told the bride's dress was probably $4,000.

But then from recent news events, maybe she'll run? lol!

Maybe, Pathie! What the hell, though. As long as there's enough of us that enjoy it...

NJ, thanks. Be back in two!

I'll take a back seat to Mr. Robbins on musical knowledge. I think my tastes are as eclectic as his, but he knows more.

I love that song, Geo! Saturday's show waas a good one. I burned a few copies of most of it onto a few CD's. I'm willing to send out to anyone that may want one...

Just ask!

I'm asking. That was indeed a good show. And an extra hour too. Took me right up to Prairie Home Companion, which featured the daughter of a friend's friend singing Appalachian Mountain music in an authentic style, very akin to shape-note singing. It was a good day for radio - six fantastic hours.

Got it, Geo. There's a few gaps in there where the tapes ran out and I didn't catch it for a minute or two. But, most of it's there. E mail me your address. Not sure if I have it.

Actually, I owe you a Leo Kottke CD, so maybe I'll tool on up to see you not this Saturday, but the following Saturday. We can exchange CDs then and save a bunch of US Snail carriers lugging extra stuff around, and who knows, maybe saving another incident of somebody going postal.

Flack from the Philadelphia office? How can this be?

Oh, my bad. You work for a law firm.

A priest reached the end of his days, so he called two parishioners to be with him as he made his exit: an IRS agent and a lawyer.

Feeling good that the priest had invited them, of all the people in the parish to share his passing, the two showed up. The dying priest took the hand of each and smiled.

"We feel honored you would ask us to be here," the IRS agent said.

"Yes, we did not realize that you held us in such high esteem," said the lawyer.

The priest opened his eyes. "Oh, it's not that," he said. "When Jesus died, he had hardened criminals on both sides of him. I just want to die as he did."

seems like it was the never ending goodbye, but the Tree family wasn't there, sorry. Hurricane Janet was enticing me with a CD for my trip home, but she forgot it was in the rental car, so I just hopped in mine and headed back to 93S the same rte(MassAve) that we went down earlier in the day. a couple more near misses with pedestrians, jaywalking in the rain
