“NC, Ray Davies JUST came out with this. Believe it or not, this is his first solo venture. You'd think a guy with a resume THAT long would have done this a while back. The way I see it, and this is not official, I would think that The Kinks could very well be the longest running rock band to go without breaking up. Even with all the fights, they seemed to stay together for more years than any band I can think of. The Stones broke up and changed personnel. The Who did the same, etc etc. The Kinks always seemed to stay together with the same personnel, until fairly recent years, that is. I could be wrong. It's just a gut thought on my part...
