Da train stays in the station today. No Underground Railroad. Got a sub coming in. Maple and I are out of here in an hour. Heading to the Finger Lakes to the Binghamton/Ithaca/Watkins Glen areas to have some fun and a couple of day hikes...

Going to select a few items from his new CD, Path! I've been listening to it all week. It's really good! Then, of course, a whole bunch of Kinks' goodies, too! Just narrowing it down is difficult. There's so many great Kinks songs...

NC, Ray Davies JUST came out with this. Believe it or not, this is his first solo venture. You'd think a guy with a resume THAT long would have done this a while back. The way I see it, and this is not official, I would think that The Kinks could very well be the longest running rock band to go without breaking up. Even with all the fights, they seemed to stay together for more years than any band I can think of. The Stones broke up and changed personnel. The Who did the same, etc etc. The Kinks always seemed to stay together with the same personnel, until fairly recent years, that is. I could be wrong. It's just a gut thought on my part...
